If the Upsidedown is based on the Vale of Shadows (as referenced in ST), then there should actually be twin darker versions of each character in the Upsidedown which hasn't been revealed as yet! Maybe the Will Joyce & Hopper found in the Upsidedown was the Shadow/darker version of Will, & a setup as part of Vecna's masterplan! It's not beyond the realm of possibility!
I really wish there was a dragon in this show, that would be so cool. Also I started wondering why when Will was found in the Upside down, why he had a vine in his mouth, I mean monsters could just kill him, and my theory is that, they were saving him because air in the upside down is toxic, so they were trying to keep him alive and safe here. Also I think that Will stopped breathing only after they took that vine out.
Is that vine not what inserted the slug that Will later coughed up? Wonder whether Krissy, Patrick & Fred had vines also attached into their mouths when seen inside of Vecna's Mindlair? Max actually fell down from those Vines in S5 when she returned to her body in S4....which may be part of why she wa still alive? I think those Vines are like "veins" that carries the blood that changed the blood type of Brenner's father & a young Henry when they disappeared into Dimension X. It's like those vines allow Vecna to infiltrate into others minds just like when he attaches himself to them at the Creel House in the Upsidedown. ST establishes that the full extent of powers are in finding memories, & so Vecna absorbs the memories of his victims to become more & more powerful. The fact that Will's & Max's were disturbed may be the reasons why they're still alive & remain connected to his Hivemind & the Upsidedown.
Also, I’d like to add something I just thought of when you were talking about the baby dragon. In the stranger things behind the scene trailer video there is a clip of will for a brief second in the same clothes the he was in castle Byers when it got blown down. In the clip he is falling from the sky next to a tree and I have a theory that maybe the baby dragon had him and was flying and dropped him! That is so cool and I’m excited to see what happens in the show!!! 🐉 PS the time stamp in the bts video is around minute 1:38
A young Will falling in that way is reminiscent of Eleven falling when the Mindflayer infiltrated her mind when she entered into Billy's in S3, & how Nancy fell when Vecna entered into her mind in S4. This means that we'll see a flashback in S5 of Vecna entering into Will's mind from way back in S1...probably in that scene of something bursting into Castle Byers just after Eleven contacted Will there in S1 in the Upsidedown!
This isn't relating to the video but I found a cool foreshadowing. In season three, when nancy and jonathan are in the fight (episode 5) with the 2 newspaper men, there are 2 clocks, one is square and one is circle. And I spotted a rainbow on the cup of the woman at the front desk in that episode. It was the same one from the rainbow room in season 4. And in that episode when nancy and Jonathan are fighting the blonde man, the lights are constantly flickering, I don't know if it matters though.

Like a young Henry drew the Mindflayer, it seems as if Will somehow already knows about this Red Dragon....but maybe it's a suppressed memory to do with the egg & what happened to Will in Castle Byers in the Upsidedown during S1! There's more to Will's paintings & drawings....even of the tunnels in S2! Will could be the architect of the Upsidedown, or be having visions of the future due to his connection to it! Almost as if part of Vecna has always been implanted within Will's mind, because he needed him to "build" just like the MF/Vecna needed Billy "to build" in S3!

Its closed now, but there are day time tours and night time tours with scary elements :D the hotel they stayed at is Hilton garden inn which is like 10min walk to prison. The church where Hopper was hiding is located outside the city, around 50min drive. There is a small village Semeliskes. You can google Semeliskes orthodox church
S2 E1 titled 'Mad max' has the boys playing Dragon's Lair at the Arcade....where the objective of the game is to rescue a princess who is being held captive in a dungeon by a Dark Wizard...& is guarded by a dragon. This could foreshadow Max's S5 storyline, with Vecna being the Dark Wizard holding her captive, the dragon being hinted at in Will's painting the same dragon, & that Lucas may be the one who eventually saves her by using the "magic sword" just like in the game ....whether "The Crawl" & "Escape from Camazotz" links to this, I'm not so sure....but it's more than possible!
My theory is if everything with the egg is correct then i do believe we could see the dragon as a villain in season 5 within dungeons and dragons there is a three headed dragon named borys and we also saw in wills painting that the dragon had three heads on the other hand though if things are different i also believe we could see another creature as nancy mentioned in season 4 when vecna showed her the future she said she saw a giant creature with a gaping mouth and she almost perfectly described another dungeons and dragons villain known as the thesselhydra and in season one at the end of the season i believe during a dungeons and dragons game mike places down the thesselhydra and we know the duffers like to tease they're villains with the dungeons and dragons games that the boys play so in my theory this season could go one of two ways and im excited to see what season 5 holds
I think the 3 headed dragon will be the Thesselhydra, while there'll be an array of a new army of monsters introduced in S5...with Nancy's potentially being just one of them! If it were the same, then Nancy would have mentioned the multiple heads, the red color & that it was a dragon rather than a monster with a gaping mouth.

My best guess is that Vecna seen value in Will to infiltrate the Hawkins to help him find Eleven so that he can take revenge on her for banishing him. It's as if part of Vecna has been inside of Will all along without anyone even realizing it! So there is a character kali in stranger things...and was one of the test subjects right so my theory is that kali is a representation of goddess kali (in Hinduism) in ....as Kali Maata is considered a symbol of destruction of false consciousnes , the goddess of time, change, and destruction. So as there are speculations about time travel I think kali can play a major role there . Plus we know that kali can make illusions which contradicts the power of goddess Kali who is considered the destroyer of illusions. Kali mata is often depicted with a fearsome appearance, wearing a garland of skulls and holding weapons which resonates with the fact that kali Prasad of stranger things is also filled with anger to revenge/kill those who caused her pain. And she kills them which can be associated with goddess kali garland of skull. So in Hinduism Kali represents the shadow self the part of that we hide from the ( and that is our fears our weakness) n kali of stranger things can create illusions mostly involving someone's fear. So I actually watched the episode of the bathtub the other day and that was afte El told will that mom is on her way and you hear the noise but if you remember that is the same noise from season 2 when the demogorgons are surrounding the buyer's house and then you hear the noise of like pain and that is when El killed the demogorgon and that is the same noise that you hear at by Castle byers before whatever takes will. I don't think it was El who killed the first thing that was walking by Castle buyers could have been vecna.
It's definitely possible. What intrigues me the most is the "stomping" or "footsteps" how it says in the captions right before Castle Byers gets bashed in. Like it goes from Monster growling, to footsteps, to growling, to BASH! Like why footsteps, I mean the Demgorgan walks like that, but it sounds BIGGER you know. It's definitely going to be an interesting one to see, because no doubt they have to explain that scene and I really feel it's going to be the opening to S5.
Henry used the Shadow particles to form the Mindflayer, & so they'll probably repeat the same trick in S5 with the Red Dragon! Maybe the Mindflayer is just another avatar of the same evil...& it's the shadow particles that provides the material for Henry to manipulate & create!
I have to say as well in this video I did think about the dragon egg at the time I saw it as a Demogorgon egg but now I see it as the dragon egg and to be specific the 3 headed red dragon that they have to fight next season . Will painted the red dragon creature they will be fighting already in season 5.

I know absolutely nothing about D & D lol, but I just looked up a list of some of the DARKEST villains in the game. Vecna was very low on that list which intrigued me. Sul Khatesh on the list I looked at was 2nd on that list. So when I looked things up about her, it stated that she despises Dragons and was captured and bounded by them, and put into the Veil of Shadows as a prisoner. If she was ever to return then Sul Khatesh hates Dragons and would go against them. Her powers are even sorcery, and she can make you see things that aren't there, in order to attack. Lol it's pretty wild, because if Kali returns and we do have a Dragon, then she could either be of help. or who know's, cuz it looks like the Wizard is in charge of the Dragon in Stranger Things lol, based off Will's picture. So many thoughts lol, sorry for the novel lmfao!

@@DLA_AlternativePodcastThe behind the scenes teaser shows a young Will falling from above, similar to when Vecna went into Eleven's mind in S3 & Nancy's in S4, implying that he went into Will's mind only when finding him inside of Castle Byers in S1...& the details of what what then happened will now be revealed!
My best guess is that Vecna seen value in Will to infiltrate the Hawkins to help him find Eleven so that he can take revenge on her for banishing him.
It's as if part of Vecna has been inside of Will all along without anyone even realizing it! That's why Will was described as his "spy" because he now has a sleeper agent on the inside of the core group who he can use to sabotage Eleven in the future.
& so there's this ongoing conflict within Will where he's love for his friends is always at odds with the hate & evil Vecna is trying to corrupt his mind with...& that this battle will lead to Will betraying Eleven in S5 the way Judas did Jesus....but that he'll eventually redeem himself right at the very end to help save the one she loves.
"Do not be overcome by Evil, but overcome evil with good " : Jason....the same quote on the banner which is hung outside the church in the S4 epilogue which Will actually reads through the window when they return to Hawkins in Argyle's car!
So there is a character kali in stranger things...and was one of the test subjects right so my theory is that kali is a representation of goddess kali
(in Hinduism) in ....as Kali Maata is considered a symbol of destruction of false consciousnes , the goddess of time, change, and destruction.
So as there are speculations about time travel I think kali can play a major role there . Plus we know that kali can make illusions which contradicts the power of goddess Kali who is considered the destroyer of illusions.
Kali mata is often depicted with a fearsome appearance, wearing a garland of skulls and holding weapons which resonates with the fact that kali Prasad of stranger things is also filled with anger to revenge/kill those who caused her pain. And she kills them which can be associated with goddess kali garland of skull.
So in Hinduism Kali represents the shadow self the part of that we hide from the ( and that is our fears our weakness) n kali of stranger things can create illusions mostly involving someone's fear.
It can be far fetched but makes sense.

So I actually watched the episode of the bathtub the other day and that was afte El told will that mom is on her way and you hear the noise but if you remember that is the same noise from season 2 when the demogorgons are surrounding the buyer's house and then you hear the noise of like pain and that is when El killed the demogorgon and that is the same noise that you hear at by Castle byers before whatever takes will. I don't think it was El who killed the first thing that was walking by Castle buyers could have been vecna.
It's definitely possible. What intrigues me the most is the "stomping" or "footsteps" how it says in the captions right before Castle Byers gets bashed in. Like it goes from Monster growling, to footsteps, to growling, to BASH! Like why footsteps, I mean the Demgorgan walks like that, but it sounds BIGGER you know. It's definitely going to be an interesting one to see, because no doubt they have to explain that scene and I really feel it's going to be the opening to S5.
I wonder what will be the role of the Mind Flayer then, if it somehow turned into that dragon or it's a separate thing
Henry used the Shadow particles to form the Mindflayer, & so they'll probably repeat the same trick in S5 with the Red Dragon!
Maybe the Mindflayer is just another avatar of the same evil...& it's the shadow particles that provides the material for Henry to manipulate & create!

I have to say as well in this video I did think about the dragon egg at the time I saw it as a Demogorgon egg but now I see it as the dragon egg and to be specific the 3 headed red dragon that they have to fight next season . Will painted the red dragon creature they will be fighting already in season 5.

No doubt I am getting the same vibe for sure! In Will's drawing and his painting, him as the Wizard, he's leading that Dragon in both of those pictures. It would be wild to have Will not necessarily be "The Sorcerer" but the DRAGON MASTER! Vecna could be messing something up and pissing off that Dragon lol. If Will can control it, then my lord that would be wild!
What if the way to defeat Vecna in S5 is for Eleven, or maybe even Will to take control of the Hivemind & "overcome evil with good".....

I try to stray away from First Shadow, the theater play. But in that, it confirms that Ted and Karen grew up with the rest of the parents, and Lonnie was a little older, but they all lived in Hawkins like our Stranger Things group. What's even more interesting is if you've seen my Kali Is The Villain Theory, in that one I talked about how Kali's character resembles a villain in D & D called Sul Khatesh, the Queen of Shadows. I know absolutely nothing about D & D lol, but I just looked up a list of some of the DARKEST villains in the game. Vecna was very low on that list which intrigued me. Sul Khatesh on the list I looked at was 2nd on that list. So when I looked things up about her, it stated that she despises Dragons and was captured and bounded by them, and put into the Veil of Shadows as a prisoner. If she was ever to return then Sul Khatesh hates Dragons and would go against them. Her powers are even sorcery, and she can make you see things that aren't there, in order to attack. Lol it's pretty wild, because if Kali returns and we do have a Dragon, then she could either be of help. or who know's, cuz it looks like the Wizard is in charge of the Dragon in Stranger Things lol, based off Will's picture. So many thoughts lol, sorry for the novel lmfao!

Henry used the Shadow particles to create the Mindflayer (what he envisioned as a boy because of his bond with Spiders), & so the Demogorgan that supposedly took Will appeared to him in that form because that's the fear of what was in his mind at the time having just left the D&D Campaign!
& so the red dragon Will painted in S4 will now manifest itself in the Upsidedown in S5! Don't think the monster Will heard growling in S1 was the dragon, but I do think that he's painting of it was what brought it to life in the Upsidedown which was then heard by Steve, Nancy, Eddie & Robin!

Or that the nature of the Upsidedown allows for anyone who enters it to have mystical powers....& so without even realizing it, Will only evaded the Demogorgan in S1 because he "CAST PROTECTION"!?!
