So I've never heard of this band but I just saw their name on ticketmaster coming to seattle and I love brass instruments so I just may go and check them out!
Just read in the book, Treme, that they are the "gold standard" of New Orleans brass bands. I can see why. Wish I could go to NOLA tomorrow night to see their show. Okay, not sure about that after about 54:00. Just went and found the Pinettes. Darn.
Love it I saw them in baton rouge LA. I had so much fun it wasn't real . I wanted to press rewind and bring the beat back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There sound is real fresh. Makes you wanna party .so less do what we wanna.😃

They are so great in person. Too bad the Seattle show was cancelled due to travel issues.
