Delta Airlines is no longer flying to the Philippines, while Vanilla Air is no longer exists and merged with Peach Aviation.
Yeah sadly, I hope when the New MNL Airport opens they will resume and return
I'm Filipino and
Mabuhay!!!
4:17 Mandarin Airlines is from Taiwan, not [Mainland] China.
And mandarin airlines have flight from manila
@@r.saorii Wdym Mandarin Airlines dosent exist in manila anymore
Few years ago some airlines fly to Manila like British Airways, Lufthansa, Alitalia, Sabena Belgian airlines, Scandinavian Airlines SAS, Air France, Swissair and others like Pan Am, Northwest Orient, Continental Air Micronesia, EgyptAir, Canadian Pacific,
Airlines used different type of aircraft then like Boeing 707, 727, L1011 Tristar, Trident, Boeing 747, DC 8, DC 10, and early version of A300.
I remember when British Airways, Air France, Lufthansa, SAS, Alitalia and Swiss used to fly to Manila. Guess they were having a hard time competing with Middle Eastern airlines on flights to Europe. Hope to have them back. I also recall Egypt Air, Pakistan International Airlines flying to Manila.
Plus PAL who also flying to Europe.
Maybe when the new Manila Airport is finished or if a third runway or terminal 5 pops up in Manila they will resume flights.
Also congestion/overcapacity is probably the main reason they stopped flying

Yeah... I can still remember those airlines serving the Philippines, the golden years, during the Marcos' administration when the Philippines was still well-known for it's Filipino hospitality.
ever since Mactan Cebu opened Terminal 2, more airlines have operated in Mactan Cebu even All Nippon Airways (ANA) started operating in Mactan Cebu
From The Philippines Btw

Doesnt any one notice. Mostly Chinese airline's
Juliet Vargas top 2, Top 1 is Korea
Because East Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean) tourists love to go here in the Philippines, especially when it's very cold in their homelands.
On another note, last time I went to Metro Manila there were lots of Chinese tourists.
I noticed the same also. Was thinking "name a Chinese airline" would be a good question for the Family Feud show. Lots of answers to chose from.
Actually Chinese more likely going Thailand N Malaysia while Korean prefer Philippines N Vietnam. Chinese tourist to Philippines still count very little compare to others asean countries. For examples, AirAsia can access to many Thailand and Malaysian cities while for Philippines only Manila. Your government can work more for this, seriously Chinese will like Philippines if the country promotes well in China
@NOODLES di ako makapaniwalang nang aaway ka ng tsino para sa isang creative criticism.. tae ka kaya di umunlad pinas tae kang walangya ka..
Air Asia has destinations in some major Cities in the Philippines CEBU CITY, PUERTO PRINCESSA, CLARK AND KALIBO. Air Busan also have a regular Schedule in Cebu City.

I wish American Airlines will fly to MNL & codeshare with PAL in order to join Oneworld Alliance.
Yes, Oneworld is an alliance for flag carriers each country. And since PAL is the flag carrier of the Philippines, then yes.

I wonder why some airlines are parked in NAIA such as Lufthansa, British Airways, etc but these airlines doesn’t offer flights from their Origin to MNL
shinevrything They’re parked in the Lufthansa Technik Hangar for aircraft maintenance, repair, overhaul, etc.
Llanetaboy if thats the case... it would be an advantage for Lufthansa to have flights from germany-Philippines since they have that kind of facility in manila. Don’t you think?
i keep seeing them on manila and clark air. because we went to bataan we pasthrought airport.
1:13 R.I.P
Well, this maybe a good video, I think. 😘 But, we don't really know. Philippines' economy has been improving ang more and more countries giving visa free access, I guess, more and more airlines will fly to Manila. I also hope that local airlines like PAL and Cebu Pacific will expand their international flights. One more thing, I hope there will be another full service airline to compete with PAL to step up the game
Please bhai next list of airlines land in Japan in 17 June
I think it this incomplete, hope to see next
