PW for sure, you can still hear it booming through the air long after it's taken off, unlike the others. Plus the sheer power of the sound as it hurtles down the runway, beautiful!
Trent 700 it always has that iconic noise on the spool up which separates it literally from any engine the GE engine is freaking loud, I’ve not heard the PW engine up close in person but from the video it sounds great
LRG GE engines are so noisy, here in my country the air France a380 with rolls Royce engines sounds like an a320 but the Lufthansa 747-8 with GE engines sound a lot!!!

I did some Investigating and I’m pretty sure the reason why the PW4000 had such a loud roar and noise was because it doesn’t have a nozzle. Unlike the Cf6 and Trent 700.
I have to say the CF6-80E1 howl and idle noise are very classic to me, TAP had a lot of A332s that had the CF6-80E1 and that its my favorite along with the PW-4000
Hunter Hearst Helmsley whenever an A330 fly above our residential area, those with the PW engines are the loudest based on my observation. Anyway your videos are really awesome! I love hearing the airplane engines roar!

They don't give you that instant blood chill rush like the other two. Just BLAH. Those are my picks!
absolutely not relevant. The weight of the planes might be completely different. If you take an empty A330 vs. a fully loaded A330, you will see the fully loaded one can take up twice the runway

Would be good to see another comparison :) Onboard it's a different experience, of course; if you're upfront you can really tell the difference. Inside the cabin I prefer PW, then GE and lastly RR.

Trent 700 - Sounds steady and quite less noise.
CF6-80E1 - Loud but sounds powerful.
PW 4000-100 - Sounds like a fighter jet, loud but superior noise.

Pratt & Whitney, though loudest, had the most dramatic revup, and a powerful, sustained thunder. A favorite with military pilots, probably.
Many military aircraft use pw engines !!
p&w hands down, the rumble out the back was like the 727's, awesome!

The RR Trent 700 is the classic , the initial spoof, that sound is like music to the ears. I just love it
