The best part is the shot from the cockpit, the light shows, the designs on the seats and walls, the smiles of the staff ,i mean it’s perfection! I hope one day I can use the PAL350 from NYC to Manila.

I flew with A350 from Bangkok to Manila. I would say this aircraft is on of the best and most advance amenities PAL can provide and most especially the 5 star sevice.
i admit this is the first time i feel proud of our flag carrier. it has come along way to catch up with the other airlines when it comes to not only upgrading the cabin but purchasing new aircraft as well. Congrats philippineairlines. i hope to fly with you soon when i come home to the philippines. hope there will be direct flights soon to cebu rather than having to stopover in manila hehehe

I've been flying PAL.. I must say.. Service and warmth of their Cabin Crews are extraordinary... The Pilots... I've experienced most smooth landings with PAL most of the time... I just hope 🇵🇭 will improve the Airport...

That's great to know that PAL is getting known to be better in the aviation industry. That was a huge improvement. I wish I could fly this new aircraft too. On the other hand, i think they should improve their business class food presentation, table ware and cutlery being used. Glad to see another PAL review from you Mr. Sam! 😊😊

I love the Fiesta Scenario lighting, uniquely Filipino. tells the story of how Filipinos colorfully celebrate fiesta & summer. Those Premium Economy seats looks nice and comfy for someone like me who can't afford J-class tix. The barong-inspired wall design, sea waves-inspired floor carpeting compliments each other. Good job PAL.

Being an overseas filipino worker (OFW) myself from the middle east flying PAL flight PR 654 / 655 and everytime we filipinos watch good videos, hear good comments and remarks, specially coming from the world's most followed and reknown video blogger MR. I flew one their first between Bangkok and Manila. It was on familiarization service for the crew. It was especially good after the A320 going to Bangkok. I was delighted when it replaced the 777 on the LHR route. Interestingly, it lacks the feeling of space of the 777 but once in your pod it obviously an improvement.

Although it's not 5 star airlines yet like Garuda Indonesia, Singapore Airlines,, I always love to fly with PAL. There's something different from the crew. Yes you can't fake perfection, but heart knows better when it comes to PAL flight attendants. And I'm Indonesian, admiring PAL.

Over the span of 15 years when our In-Laws were alive, we have flown PAL from LAX to MNL business class round trip once or twice a year. We have also enjoy their service and hospitality on the 747. The PAL have its financial/business turmoil and service have degraded at some point. I am glad now they are back on top of the game. Go PAL.

Only flown PAL twice, 1977 & 2017. I can't really remember the first experienced but the second time around was awesome. The FA's gave us a 5 star service for my 84yo mother and I. Looking forward to fly PAL again in 2019. Keep those Vodka coming :-). Thank you!

Cant wait to fly with this new A350-900XWB! My husband and I just came back from PI (PR-100) not too long a go and we had the best service all around. Mabuhay!
Have to say that I’m impressed by the business class video system (mobile device sync capability, tv monitor removal, etc) and also with the fun fiesta lighting programming. I’m curious also about the food presentation as I loved those acrylic like trays, but a one-step meal tray for long flights? Is that the norm at Philippines Air? Also while I feel the A350 is a great plane to fly, based on this video I see the same crammed forward galley area many crew members dislike from other A350 carriers, and the lack of center overhead lockers in the forward business class section. Why is Airbus building A350s without them?
1. Removal of center overhead bins on business class gives a more open feel. The bins on the side are large enough for all the business class passengers. There are center bins in premium economy and economy class.
2. One step meal tray isnt standard pal catering. This is a delivery flight and if you watch Sam's other videos, delivery flight catering from Boeing and airbus is different from the standard ones airlines use.

Thank you Sam for showcasing this plane for PAL. Glad you were on the maiden flight to Manila and had a wonderful time. I may consider flying the NY to Manila route depending on the flight time. But I would first have to take a flight from IAD to JFK, so this could be a negative because of the additional travel time. By-the-way, I am wondering why PAL chose such a pedestrian paint scheme for this first plane. For PR purposes, they should have gone with something bold to promote either tourism or the culture of the Philippines. Just like Iceland Air's Aurora Borealis, or Air New Zealand's All Blacks. Any commenters out there with suggestions for PAL? Anyway, Mabuhay and safe journeys.
