      @@jerkanboii A very important question! Using the wrong pad thickness will often result in serious damage to your card, not from a lack of cooling, but from the heat sink not distributing pressure properly after the wrong pads are installed.
      Of course, pads which aren't thick enough can also have a very adverse effect on cooling performance, which could also result in damage, or instability.
