If there is a gpu i've ever wanted to own it's been the titan V, its like a look at what gpu tech could have been if nvidia didnt focus on raytracing Also the failures of the 40 series proves to me further that the 30 series, the 6000 series and DDR4's last days were the swansong of the gaming PC golden age, now we're stuck in the dark ages where shit is too expensive and not worth the money
I recently picked up a titan v for a couple hundred bucks, it's such an awesome card to own. They are SUPER rare where I am. Still runs most modern games very well
2:23 Regarding blower, gigabyte have line of 3080 and 3090 with one. The "turbo" line, I have one and love it. I also have a 3070 with it, but it look like a special sku because I can't see picture of it online.
After doing a lot of research, the Titan Maxwell is around the same speed as the 30W 4050 in the XPS 14, which is the slowest possible 40 series GPU on the market

It seems to be in good shape, getting 120 frames on max settings in Rome 2 Total War and 60 on high in Elden Ring (paired with an i5-10600k I bought and never used for a year). Seeing the performance boost, might repaste as well.
I bought the Titan Pascal before they released the Titan XP pascal so that stung a little but its still my daily driver even after all these years. It doesn't lose frames in most games and I only game in ultra settings with a 4k display. I've started to look at what the market has now and days and I think ill wait for the 5000 series Nvidia cards in 2025. Fingers crossed they bring the Titans back!
I have 2 sli they are awesome got them both for 280$ and i can play RDR2 ,Days gone and Elden ring FULL settings,A single 2060 is slower than my sli titan and I borrowed a 3090 and it had very little edge over the Titan X sli.Just keep them cool and they run great,very sturdy and you can upgrade the fan.
I have the Star Wars Galactic Empire version and a regular Nvidia Titan X. Both were bought at the PEAK GPU pricing; $1k EACH and I still LOVVE THEM. I repasted and put new thermal pads on both. WASTE NOT WANT NOT. I did buy a new MSI 3060 Ventus and I am curious how it will compare.
Try copper moding the vram with added heatpipes conectcted to a heatsink. What about putting the 4090 heatsink since its for 450w, or a serer heatsink. Those always run real hot.
The reason it didn't have a backplate is because the design for the reference one could not accomodate the dual sided memory modules. That is true for both Titan X and 980 Ti. While the regular 980 reference has a backplate and is cheaper than the two.
i completely agree with this guy , but at the same time i know im kinda wrong thinking that way . Come down to it i got a Titan XP that im using and really like, but have a RX 6700 10 gb which basically the same performance, but with modern features, and just really dont like the idea of going to 160 bit bus . Seems like a down grade even though its a horizontal upgrade .

Yeah the gold and black on the Titan V is just beautiful. Nvidia seems preoccupied with enormous datacenter money nowadays, which is so disappointing.

I'm fairly certain there is no blower 4090, but yes there are blower 3090s.

Titan Xs are cheap, maybe use Liquid Metal on it just for fun? Also thermal glue some copper heatsinks on the rear memory
honestly i think the blower style coolers are way sexier than the fan-style coolers they switched to for Turing and onwards
I agree. The passthrough coolers look okay but they lack the style of the blowers. Another commenter said how much he loves the Titan V and I agree.

Halo Infinite hates every GPU. On my Arc A750, certain BTB maps can bug out and all the level geometry vanishes. Unintentional wallhacks lmao.
