    I'm a Massage Therapist and the environment I work in is warm to start with. Then you add 2 bodies in a small room. Heated table. Hot towels. As well as being a physical job. My anxiety is so bad at work because I am experiencing social anxiety along with huge financial problems. My mind is spinning before and after massages. LUCKILY I check out of my own mind and body for the most part while performing the actual massage. At some point during my shift something makes me start to sweat. Once I start it's like a flood gate. I LITERALLY look I just got out of shower. Plus experiencing menopause on top of everything. I wanted to cry tonight it was sooooooooo bad at work tonight. So bad!!!!!!

    Ask your doctor about glycopyrrolate, I have been taking it for about 3 years now. The only terrible side effect is dry mouth, but i would rather deal with dry mouth rather than a whole sweat storm. Good luck, hopefully this helps.
    P.s., there’s a subReddit dedicated to hyperhydrosis. You can see other people’s questions and you can see other peoples responses or you can create your own, most replies have very viable information.

      Appreciate the comment and I did try glyco and seemed to work. But for my job I have to be on the phone with customers and the dry mouth was just to much and also reddit can be either helpful or not. for me I found it to be more or a pain to just have that in my head 24/7. I try to move away and just accept its part of me.

    I can relate to you with praying and trying to find a solution without surgery or medication. I lost time that I could be hanging out with friends or enjoying life because I thought I could cure it without intervention. I finally caved in and got the glyco prescription and I can’t tell you how happy I am that I finally advocated for myself and asked my physician for it. We all have different beliefs in what God can do but we must also do things for ourselves. You can keep your faith while taking medications for the hyperhidrosis and that doesn’t mean you gave up or lost your faith.

    After 3 years of struggling with this problem, I finally found the solution! Drysol Mild (has aluminum chloride 6.25% which can also be used on the face). Do not use Drysol 20% because it is only for urmpit and palms. After 2 consecutive applications, the sweat on the face disappeared completely! even in extreme heat, I don't sweat on my forehead. Now I apply only 2 times a week. As side effects, in the first half hour it stings quite hard. But after that it's ok. I feel like my life is back to normal! Anyone with this problem should try it!

    I was diagnosed with Craniofacial Hypohydrosis when I was 3 years old. I'm 27 now and it's destroyed me. With my anxiety and CFHH just makes it all worse. I work outside most the time and in the winter it's crazy how I can go from being cold outside then going into a 68° room and instantly start sweating like crazy. Just hate it so much. Depression and wanting to just end it comes across my mind everyday. Hopefully I can figure out something that works for me...

For all the comments I would like to share that please can we think of trying Botox injections. I know its costly I know its painful. But it is the most effective remedy till date. Doctors have very few treatments for HH and the best of them is Botox injections on scalp and face or other effected areas. Please let me know if anyone has already tried. And positivity is key, brother you keep posting these videos to help us keep motivated. We are with you full support. I am always researching on these topics will keep you guys updated too. 👍

    I have cranial and facial sweating that is so bad, I had to quit a job I really loved .
    The reason seems so trivial. But I am a service tech. Summers here are 95+. My sweating was so bad that people would ask if it's raining outside. Or people will just stare because it's pouring down my face in an air conditioned building.
    We got new management who made us start wearing long sleeve shirts. It far worse for me. I had to change shirts 3 times a day. I couldn't take it anymore and left the job to another company that allowed short sleeve moisture wicking shirts. I still pour sweat.

    • @rubenr039
      @rubenr039 3 года назад +2

      I deal with this every day at work. I wear a new dry shirt while I let the 1st soaked shirt dry, and then change to my 3rd shirt while I let the 2nd shirt dry and the 1st shirt basically nearly done drying, and then continue that cycle through the day. I also take 3 different baseball caps to work to do the same as the shirts. My coworkers look at me weird because I’m the only one sweating.

    My father has it, I have it, my son has it.
    It is so bad for me that in a two hour period working I would have a legit puddle at my feet and my shirt almost soaked through. I do not sweat from the next down but it 100% can be genetic and may be absolutely nothing you can do except get treatment, such as Botox or extreme strong antiperspirants.
    I have found no difference from mental health ups and downs, weight gain/loss, antiperspirants. I will usually have to drink at least 2 gallons of water a day or I will usually be weak and even a few times passed out.
    I did not sweat until I was 13, I am 32 now and nothing has gotten better or changed in 19 years.

    I have a severe craniofacial hyperhidrosis, I live in Marrakech (Morocco, North Africa) where the weather is really so hot in summer and I'm a future doctor.. let me tell u that this is very embarassing in front of my patients and it makes me really feeling down and depressed. Now, I'm having my thesis defense in a month (July) I didn't find any right solution for me and I feel so bad about it 'cause I know I'm gonna be sweating like never in front of my thesis judges and they will think I'm afraid and this is not gonna be helping me facing them 'cause I'll seem too weak. Wish me luck guys. I really feel so down. 🙏🏻
