Uhh...but be aggressive with your loofah or wash cloth and exfoliate those areas, but always moisturize those areas after. And I promise you will see a good thing!

We do what we do exactly because excessive sweating can be literal hell for some people. We hear from people who've had their lives ruined by excessive face sweating, by excessive hand sweating, by excessive back sweating - sometimes as a result of compensatory hyperhidrosis from ETS, sometimes from no discernible reason whatsoever. We built Carpe to be the company that will keep searching for effective solutions to excessive sweating no matter where it occurs - so that the millions of us for whom sweating is hell can live a normal life.

Sweat glands from the palm of a patient with hyperhidrosis were examined by light and electron microscopy before and after treatment with tap water iontophoresis. No changes in structure were noted after treatment, disclaiming the currently accepted theory that mechanical ductal obstruction is the mechanism of action of this method. Furthermore, we believe the safety and effectiveness of this treatment are supported by our experience.

It took me 45 years to look this up? I literally just found out this is a "thing" fifteen minutes ago.
From school to today. It sucks. Streaming sweat in class when everyone else is dry. Immediately and profusely sweating in uncomfortable situations (which compounds the situation due to being self conscious about the sweat..), shoveling snow and sweating through my jacket, when I lived in the southeast for a while my car's a/c broke, and I had to take my shirt and pants off before getting in or out of the car due to them being soaked by the time I got to the store, awkward looks from people, sadly sweating on anyone working under me (I used to work on ladders all day/construction (sorry)), and I could go on and on. Oh yeah, SEX!!!!! Ugh, a sweat fest, which turns out NOT to be a big turn on. Meh.
I've just dealt with it. Never even asked because my mom had the same thing so I just figured it was something I inherited. I'm sure there are people with it worse than I have. Ironically I moved to the dry southwest desert ten years ago! It's 110 today, and yes, I sometimes look like a sprinkler.....but with 10% humidity outside, it dries pretty quick. I figured the desert actually makes sense since I'm kind of like a biological swamp cooler, lol.
Unless someone finds a natural cure, I'm not taking a pill or drug, or surgery, and I'm surely not dumb enough to put antiperspirant on my head!
My best to all who suffer. So sorry for the women with it.

@@lanagoss4781 I don’t think washing everyday is the answer. I recently got my hair cut short ( it was past my shoulders). I take a strong antiperspirant like zero sweat or sweat block and put it on my forehead and hairline. Now with the shorter hair I massage it into my scalp and it sort of works as a sculpting gel thing. Colorless and odorless. I couldn’t stand it any more. I live in AZ and it doesn’t have to be in the triple digits to make my face and scalp pour sweat.

We are so sorry you are going through this. You are not alone, many suffer from unbearable sweat. You may have hyperhidrosis. Primary hyperhidrosis is the most common form of hyperhidrosis and is categorized by excessive sweating without any underlying medical condition. The condition may be the result of a natural genetic predisposition to sweat. Secondary hyperhidrosis, although less common, is often indicative of another medical problem or medication in the body.
We're happy to provide you with all the information we have, but your personal dermatologist or other medical professional is the best person to help you discover the root of your specific symptoms.

I can't go out using a mask, because I have craniofacial and torso hyperhidrosis with rhinitis, asthma and mild deviated septum... I suffered two days of heat stroke because I went out with a mask and walked less than 2 km during the day. I can't breathe and suffer a lot of heat. All my life, since I was born, I have this. My social, professional and personal life is totally affected. And it has gotten worse as I get older. And it's a genetic inheritance, my father's family also sweats, but it seems that I sweat more. Even in winter (of Brazil) , if I walk a bit, I'm already sweating. And antiperspirants prick my skin and the drugs give side effects that are impossible to deal with. My life sucks because of it.
