I've been cutting bic blues down to pocket size for years now while laughing at the other EDC youtubers buying 20 to 60 dollar mini pens they're gonna misplace. However, I did recently come across a mini pen from Countycomm that nests inside of itself. Join the two halves and its fullsize and has a lanyard hole. They're 2 bucks, slightly more expensive than a pack of Bic Blues but for the price, not too bad. Come in some interesting color options. I opted for the Coast Guard orange because you can see it on the floor when you drop it. The only con is they're slightly thicker than a bic. I'd say about the width of a mini sharpie.
Oh man!! I didn't realize they were so cheap. I love CountyComm. I have the pokka pens that are very similar but are also quite a bit more. Thank you for the heads up!
I always have a hankerchief on me, but find a banana too bulky to carry on my person. However, one in the glove box of my vehicle is handy. I have a golf towel attached to a breakaway magnetic carrabiner, which is in turn connected to a larger carabiner, attached to the passenger headrest post in my vehicle.
Love the pen ideal. Never would have thought of it but those blue pens are what we use at work. Going to try it when I use one down to that ink level. I find it fun to use them and watch the ink get lower and lower as time goes by.

I carry a 30" length of paracord in my wallet, with safety pins and paper clips strung on it in case of a clothing malfunction.
Damn good idea!!

I like Ann at vine climber too. She is really intelligent and clever!
She makes it look easy.
Got one of those cheap laser flashlights, as well.
I cant help but pick them up when I'm in that store.

I had to steal this one from work to do it. Only because I tend to lose my pens long before the ink gets low enough. 😂😂

Great suggestions. I also carry an emergency whistle and small compass. Both are under $1 at Walmart.
