I have exactly the same - love love it - so so neat and compact … mine houses journalling bits … Victorinox knife with scissors, small glue stick, tape runner, small foldable ruler, Traveller Company pencil with eraser and an extra pocket fountain pen in addition to the one on the outside. And I’m in Jakarta!
This is an awesome set up! I’m going to test it out with other gear and not use it as a wallet and see how that works for me. This “wallet” is so versatile. An excellent piece at an incredible price!!!
What a great find. I love it! It would make such a stylish pouch for a kit of some sort as well - a little medical kit., or toiletry kit, or something else....
Yes, excellent pouch! I plan on trying this out as a non wallet pouch and seeing how it works. Updated video coming shortly. A little first aid/boo-boo kit is a great idea!
I love them all! Great price too, I would put a bobby pin type money holder on the top of the center flap to hold cash on one side, and maybe a small notebook on the other side!
Hi A. I like this as a half-the-price alternate to my front pocket carry: Bellroy All Conditions Card Pocket, which is weatherproof leather with YKK Aquaguard zip measuring 4x3x3/4”. Contents: 5 cards, trifold cash, Swiss Army Card Lite, house&mailbox keys, emergency meds, 2 bandaids and AirTag. No exterior pen, but the Vict. card has a ballpoint - in a pinch. I clip my Bugout 535BK-4 above it in my pocket. Hi y’all from Calgary, Canada
That is an excellent set up you have!!! Very impressive! I am very impressed by Bellroy’s gear and will have to check out the All Conditions Card Pocket. Love finding new items. Really nice set up you have!!! Thanks for sharing!
I love the zippered wallet, especially because of the place for the pen. If you added a book of matches and a one-use iodine packet, your EDC wallet would also double as a survival kit as you would have fire for shelter and iodine for treating water plus tools and even fire fuel once you add the notebook. I personally like to carry a list of emergency phone numbers in case I am separated from my phone, which you could write on the inside cover of the notebook. If you wanted to push it a little farther, a one-time use toothbrush and one-time use floss pick with a small plastic comb all in a little ziploc bag would give you an emergency overnight kit plus a water container. You could also fold up a plastic grocery sack and keep it in a little ziploc bag as an emergency rain hat or sack as needed.
This is so excellent!!! Love these ideas. I’m going to try this pouch out as other things; fak, edc kit, and now with your ideas: survival kit. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!
Wow! (Great video! TY!) That was so close to being perfect for me! Perfect size to carry my TWSBI mini vac! I wish those card slots were on both sides! I have to carry 30 cards for myself and two senior citizens. Would be nice to have a way to slot in a horizontal 2 card clear plastic holder to hold all those in the deep side and keep the other side for just my license, cash, and ID!
Oh wow, it’s gotta be hard to find a wallet for 30 cards. If you could get 1 or 2 of those clear plastic accordion things to hold cards, they would definitely fit in the deep side of the wallet. Then use the card slots on the wallet for your quick access cards. It might just work.
I know a lot of women who don't like small pockets. Some of them were men's jeans to get big pockets. My pockets, for some reason, end up full of rocks 😂. I like the smell of fresh leather. Speaking of Crazy Horse, did you know that wasn't his birth name? The same is true with Sittingbull.
Small pockets are a disgrace to pants. Rocks 😂😂😂 as a kid my pockets had rocks, string, bugs, all kinds of weird stuff. I’ll have to look into the names, haven’t really researched it, but been fascinated.
It is pocketable in the front pocket, user discretion is advised. I wouldn’t recommend for back pocket carry, although I’m sure some people do. I normally carry it in a sling bag. Great for that.
Thank you! It’s just over 4.5 inch by 3.5 inch, so a smaller notepad can definitely fit. I’m going to be adding one actually. Can’t believe I forgot it.
In this, you could have it in one of the slots I’ve got cards in if you fold the cash. You could also leave it loose on the other side (I would leave it behind/under my edc gear). I, personally keep a little bit of cash in my back pocket of my pants.
As a leather-crafter, I can tell you that there is no way that they are using Crazy Horse leather, actually stitching the entire thing by hand, selling it for $35 and making any money on it. The profit margin would literally be in the negatives.
I was wondering how this would work. I know leather work is expensive. Much less good leather and by hand. I’ll see if I can get more info on what they do, I probably misspoke, and correct it in an updated video of this wallet. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and expertise!!! I really appreciate it!
Their leather is machine stitched, but the workmanship is very good. I guess their price is more competitive because they’re based in Turkey and their salaries and cost of living will be different from EU or North American countries… just a thought, I’m not a leather specialist.

Galen makes a lot of fun stuff. Great fountain pen storage. Those zippers look mega heavy duty!
They make some incredible hand made gear. Very heavy duty zippers, good eye! Thanks for watching!
That’s my JAM😊 11:12
😂😂😂 I keep it real
I ordered one right after I watched your video and subbed, did a video on it myself!
Very cool!!!! I’ll check it out!

Once you said YKK zippers, I was fully on board.
Only the best quality!

I store my Kaweco pens in mine. I have a purple and a brown.
This is a great use! Thank you for watching and commenting!
No ‘f.. blocker’ so your cards can be read?
Correct, no rfid blocker. One downside. And I hate to say it, but I hadn’t thought about that, good catch!
Way not add a small note pad to go with the pen?😊
Yup. Excellent idea!!! Can’t believe I didn’t. I’ll do an updated video after I tweak the items
nice wallet and I love the leather
This is an excellent product, highly recommend!
Thank you for watching and commenting, I really appreciate you!
What size notebooks can this fit?
It’s just over 4.5 by 3.5 inches. So a notepad on the smaller size. Galen does sell notebooks that fit this pouch.
And where should I carry this wallet? Seems big for front or back pocket
It is pocketable in the front pocket, user discretion is advised. I wouldn’t recommend for back pocket carry, although I’m sure some people do. I normally carry it in a sling bag. Great for that.
Great video! I like that wallet. Can you fit a regular Fieldnotes in there?

Galen sells a three pack of small "notebooks" that fit that wallet.
@@karinwebster5694 awesome! I might snag one. Thank you for sharing!!!

What is Crazy Horse Leather?
@@polly2900 great question! It’s a leather that has been tanned with oils and waxes to create a unique grain pattern.
