Great video! Carry what you need, and need what you carry. For me, I've got pliers at home, the car and in my Messenger bag. I don't need pliers so quickly that I don't have time to access one of those. That's the driving factor for me - not only whether I use it but how quickly I need it. I carry general purpose EDC items that I need quick access to on a not infrequent basis. Some people need much quicker access to pliers than I do. YMMV. My carry priorities, in order (after phone, wallet, keys): 1. Flashlight, 2) Notebook & Pen (in my wallet), 3) One-hand opening folder, 4) LeverGear charging cable (on my keychain), 5) scissors/screwdriver (my SAK), 6) trouble kit, 7) pry bar and 8) butane lighter.
@@SurvivingtheDaily Hi - I use the little 5g dyneema bag Ben Vallack mentioned in his credit card-sized EDC kit video. That video and Jon Gadget’s altoid tin inspired my set up. I hadn’t seen your channel yet, but you’ve given me some great ideas! The Trouble Kit weighs less than 4 oz. In the bag, I keep • Pokka Pen • Note paper • $100 bill • 4 zip ties • Tick remover • Glue stick • Duct tape • Self-Amalgamating tape • Microfiber glass cleaner cloth • 3 bandages • Alcohol wipe • Iodine prep pad • Shout pad • Expandable towel • Needle & thread • Mini tin with meds & safety pin & match stick • Paper clips • Q Tip • Spartan fire tinder • Ferro rod • Whistle • Leatherman Signal blade sharpener • Fresnal magnifier with ruler • Knot/Hazard Signal/Morse Code instructions
Awesome video! Your rundown of those EDC items was super insightful. Your honest take on how they perform and fit into daily life is really helpful for folks looking into similar gear. Can't wait to see what new stuff you'll be showing off next time!
@SurvivingtheDaily LOL that's so weird it sent it twice. I really like the Knipex holster. I quit carrying mine because it was making a hole in my pocket.
Very cool carry. I have cheap pliers not knipex
The knipex are really nice and well built. But I think a $5 or $10 pair can get the job done just as easily.
@@SurvivingtheDaily I have a 10 dollar pair of crescent

Awesome EDC!! I'm curious what's in your trouble kit.

Thank you very much!! I greatly appreciate your feedback. 🙏🙏
In b4 the “How I learned to stop worrying and love the Leatherman arc video”.
I want to check that one out.
I’m glad I didn’t buy the p4. I thought about it, but sounds life it’s not that useful. Excited to see what the new carry will be.
Thank you my friend for checking it out. Yeah, I wasn't extremely impressed with it. But I think that's most due to my own use case for a multitool.
I have the Arkfeld UV. Love it. Use the UV more than I thought. Great for hotels, airbnbs, restaurants.
I've never thought of using it at the restaurant. I may need to do this. Tonight. Lol
Put the Swiss Champ in your pocket!
That's almost like putting a brick in my pocket. 😂
@@SurvivingtheDaily and to balance out put a 80's cell phone in the other!

@@thevineclimberI can see how it would put a hole in your pocket. it really is an awkward item to carry without a sheath.
