How to arrange your songs in Maschine Mk3! ruclips.net/video/ZInuEx6sdD4/видео.html Follow me on IG @aggotbeats
My workflow is different when using Maschine Studio. I use all 8 sound banks as you do. Orange is my main song and I look at the 16 sound slots as tracks. (Seldom are my songs more than 16 tracks) Yellow is my drums, green might be melody, blue bass, purple synths, red is my sample bank (I use serato sample) When I am done arranging each color bank I copy and paste and color coordinate in my orange bank. Then delete every sound bank except for my main orange one then export my finished work😜Most of my works go for about 66-82 bars.
Dope! I like how detail you get with your groups/pads. Goes to show there's always more than one way to do something. Thanks for sharing your workflow and checking out mine!
@@AGgotBeats - I heard there’s a new arranger coming in an update ?
Can you confirm if I can access this if I buy MK3 with Komplete 12 select ?
@@A4ANT yes it is already out. It will be available for you at time of purchase. Hope this helps.
Will try it out, thx Jo
You're the ONLY one I've seen explain arranging like this where it got to the point without 2-hours of talking before showing how we arrange!!!! GOOD DAMN JOB... HELPED ME TREMENDOUSLY!!!
Awesome! Glad I was able to clear things up a bit! Thanks for watching!
FACTS! Thank you.🙏🏾
Hi there thanks for this video it makes so much sense. I am a 72 year old total beginner and I hadn't a clue how to start, thanks again, subscribed. I have bought myself a Maschine Mikro mk3 and a M32. Chris
Congrats on the new journey! Glad to know life doesn’t slow down with age! Much success to you!
Pretty similar to my workflow 👌! That vocal sample killed me, though, cause it didn't fit the key of the beat 🤣
Nice! Ha.. yeah it was a little off, can't win em all.. Thanks for watching though!
@@AGgotBeats You do great work with your tutorials, man 👌✅ THX
MakingMadBeats good looks my bro 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Same opinion! The vocals are in another tune..but the arrangement is very well explained 🎚👍🏾
The Syth sounded out too! Great Tutorial though.
i sware brother.. YOU ARE THE GOAT.. MY MASCHINE GURU.. Shout Out To You My Brother.. Peace..
Swanny River my bro! Thanks so much for the support 🙏🏽
You explained this better than any tutorial I've watched, thank you. You made it easy
Glad to hear that! Thanks for watching!
This is good for newbies. You don't have to double the hooks though. You can just extend them to make them twice as long and the patterns will replay from the beginning.
Yessir, def could've done it that way too. Thanks for watching!
@@AGgotBeats I get it though. You're keeping it real basic. I do the exact same thing (drums, and then one sound per group). Working on slowly incorporating these clips in.
I cannot TELL you how happy I was to find this video- I have been struggling trying to work through the flow on how to do this exact thing- thank you so much! I wish there was more info out there to help Maschine users with the proper flow- because it’s confusing.
Dang, I've been using machine for over a year and I never knew this. My workflow just got an upgrade!
Glad you found it helpful! Thanks for watching!
Hi and thanks so much, after watching countless vids and courses, you have explained it so its not confusing! I just bought a s/h Maschine mk2 just to play around with it, now I'm hooked!
BRILLIANT TUTORIAL!!! Best i've seen on arranging in Maschine. Made a daunting task simple! Thank you man. Big up from Yorkshire, England!!!
Awesome! Glad it helped out and thanks for watching!
This is one of the best tutorial videos I’ve ever seen about Maschine!
Thanks so much!
So clear this is, i bought the Machchine and i still learning. Thank you, regards from Holland
BRO, YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER I HAD THE MASCHINE MIKRO 3
FOR MONTHS AND COULD NOT UNLOCK ITS WORTH UNTIL TODAY. THANKS BRO.
Super super awesome video my bro....that's how a tutorial should be. There are alot of BS tutorials on Maschine that just gets you more confused and lost than you already were. Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you! Glad the vid was able to clear things up a bit!
Man, finally sumone who was able to actually explained the whole arrangin, settin up scenes, patterns, etc without goin off course. This was well done, glad I found this - keep doin ur thang 👍🏾
Great video, AG! There's a much faster way to create your Scenes / build your arrangement, after you build your parts in Ideas View: hit the SCENE / Section button (for instance, on Maschine MK3)... then hit Button #3 above the screen (APPEND). Then hit your pads in the order you want your parts. By far the fastest way to arrange... no mouse needed, at all.
Dope! I will give this a go next time I’m arranging in Maschine. Thanks for watching!
Yep!
Amazing explanation! By far the best and straight to the point!
Thanks Bro! I have watched many videos on youtube on how to do this and still didn't understan. After watching your video 1 time, I got this! Thanks AG. Peace and blessings ☺️
I have been scratching my head for a while now trying to get ny head round the workflow for Maschine, even bought a course but this is the first time what somelne says has actually made sense. Thank you so much for this video and a def new subscriber.
Yo I been doin maschine for some time now and I just learned something, THANK YOU.
T. Butler glad you found it useful! Thanks for watching!
Peace and blessings. I've watched a lot of videos on how to arrange a song with Maschine and none of them explained it how you did. Thank you for this video. Much appreciated. 💯
Best tutorial on arranging for maschine I've seen so far two 👍👍 up from the Chi
Thanks so much my bro! Glad you found it useful!
I have never liked or appreciated the arrange functionality of Maschine. Til today. thanks bro.
I watched another video on arranging with the MK3 and it seamed real complicated. you always break it down so its easy to understand. thank you!
Glad you're able to follow along! Making music should be fun, not complicated.
Good to see you in front of the camera AG.
Preciate that my bro! Thanks for swinging through 🙏🏽
🔥💯🔥 it gets no clearer than that🔥. Great breakdown 🔥
Thanks fam! Preciate you watching! 🙏🏽
just recently bought a maschine mikro and your video is a LIFE SAVER! I was so confused on the way this software structures the song and this has helped me make sense of it so thank you!
Thanks homie, I've had the Maschine MK3 for a few weeks now, made tons of beats but had no idea how to make the final beat, GOAT status!!!
ive being using one sound per group(even if i need multiple sounds from a group i just make that group over and over) for a long time. makes it easy for me when i grab the stems and take them to logic
Finally a tutorial from the artist perspective and not the technical one like every one else.
You are the only 0ne on RUclips that nailed the concept without wasting hours of my time!.....Thank you
Many thanks for the walkthrough, am getting one of these and getting up to speed on workflows coming from other daws/software/hardware and this is exactly what I needed to learn, you got my sub.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks and welcome to the fam!
Thank you for breaking this jawn down! I had my MK3 for a while now and because of you I finally understand how to arrange beats in Maschine! 💯🙏🏾💪🏾
That’s dope bro! Glad to help! Thanks for watching! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Glad to save you some time! Welcome to the fam 🤜🏽🤛🏽
Hey man I remember you from maschine 1 you wer stacking those kick drums saying thats one phat ass kick!! lol!, AG do your thang Bro, your the man, this is one of the easiest tutorials on arranging i just subscribe good work man!.
Hahaha! That’s funny you remember that. Thanks for the kind words and the sub! More content on the way!
No problem bro! you are helping us out learning the maschine mk3 thanks for your efforts.
Bro keep doing what your doing. Easiest breakdown in the universe!!!!! salute!!
Good looks bro! Will do and thanks for watching!
This my brother is an absolutely perfect tutorial. Strongly suggest you make this a series using this same format and teaching style to cover essential maschine functions and techniques. Well done!
Much love my brother! That's an awesome idea, what are some points you would like me to cover? Thanks again for watching!
AG Got Beats A series of tutorials from a rudimentary level covering topics like the interface, accessing sounds and plugins, importing, exporting and saving sounds and tracks, settings for cpu efficiency in a format that goes from the start of a track with the last tutorial ending with the completion of a song and touching on export options for mixing, mastering or streaming. This would be a super dope and comprehensive series for everyone from novice to pro level maschine users.
Miri Astro ah gotcha! I’m actually in the process of doing a course like this for Maschinemasters.com I will try to do a lil something for RUclips as well. Thanks for feedback! 🙏🏽🙏🏽
AG Got Beats I’ll support of both platforms! Love your teaching style brother. 💪🏽
Miri Astro much appreciated!! 🙌🏽
You rock!, I had never seen anyone describe/show how to arrange using maschine. I'm fairly new to the maschine world. This has stepped my game up and allowed me to have some sort of song structure.
Dope! Glad I was able to help! Thanks for watching!
The best video I’ve seen on this , could nt make no sense of it , you made it simple and to the point
Very helpful! Short, straight and sweet!
Good tutorial my G, I’m and mpc guy I came up on a Maschine and really wanted to learn it.
Fantastic!!!! Video... Has really helped me....Thanks AG!!! I can start smashing some tracks out now!!!
Awesome! My pleasure bro, thanks for watching!
You are the man explained this in simple and well explained to understand it thank you ❤
This is the best straight forward tutorial I have seen, I just got the MK3, and this helped me alot!
Bro you just made more sense than any video on maschine I've ever seen. I suscribed immediately!
watched so many tutorials...... but yooooooooo YOUR the best.... simple and easy!!!!!!
Bro you just saved my life with this video!
I think I do a similar thing, I load my sounds / samples into the first group, make a bunch of different patterns then make another scene pick a pattern then another scene and pattern so I can have several scenes, then I append each scene to a song for arranger mode. I'm still iffy on clips once I'm in arranger mode.
Amazing teacher.. you're built for this.. simplified learning..
I tell you I bought my machine mk3 and was about to sell it brother your a life saver
You're the man. You just taught us things that could take months to figure out in 13 minutes. I liked and subscribed and will share.Well done.
Hey just that you know most producers are gonna hate you for giving away so much so quickly for free. Gah damn you dope!!! Thank you!!!
I love how simple yet effective this guide is; very easy to follow for an idiot like me. Thanks man!
We’re all learning everyday! Glad to help simplify things a bit! Thanks for watching!
Thanks brother for the vibes and great tutorial. Definetely learned something here today
Dope as always my guy. could you do a part 2 showing how to add mutes, take out drums and and automation effects. this video helped alot getting pack into the flow. been away from maschine for minute. peace brother.
AG this was amazing. I gave up using machine few months ago in lock down, thanks to you sir now I will use the heck out of it!
All the best
Yeah you definitely need more views. Good stuff.
very cool way to explain spaces ( without mentioning how much the absence of sound can improve song writing) . I was guessing exactly what you took out at the beginning of your tutorial - , finally someone thinking the same way about how to arrange a song . yeah and giving it a few bars before the drums enter , real nice -thank you
Glad you enjoyed! Yes, I believe less is more. Great minds think a like, thanks for watching!
I have an MPC One setup in my bedroom away from the PC so I'm not distracted when I get and idea, I've been looking at a Maschine for when I feel like jamming at the computer but the whole ass internet says you can't really arrange full songs in the Maschine software, turns out that was a lie 😂 Thanks for costing me $800 (yay CDN$) and the to the point tutorial!
Bang and there we are thank you so much ....exactly what i needed
Man, really appreciate it, you literally made my day
So simply explained compared to every other vid i have watched .Well done and extremely helpful .Thanks
Glad I could help! Thanks for watching!
Best and simplest explanation I've seen on how to arrange on Maschine, thanks you've just got me up and making my first track with that tutorial.
Crystal limpid clear , thanks

Straight to the point. Love it Man. Thanks
Very nice tip using one group per voice …plus of course you apply separate effect to each voice 🙏🏿🦄🎩👍
Super dope explanation and simple! Thanks brah!
Joey Lozano my pleasure homie! Thanks for watching!
Just perfect just got my machine ❤❤❤
Thank you AG your tutorials is the only ones that really completely make sense finally got it thank you so much
Amazing tutorial King 👑. Thank you 🙏🏿🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿💯✅🎯🔊
This helped me out a ton. God bless bro
It would really help to show the sample you're playing as you play it. You keep playing the next sample as we only see the beat structure for the previous beat. it would help much more to see what you're playing as you play it
Very helpful! I've been looking everywhere trying to figure out how to arrange songs on Maschine and this is the only video that helped me:) I subscribed so quick lol
My man that was very helpful now i have another way to arrange my scenes. Im sure we would love to see more tutorials on how to create various transitions into hooks/chorus thats one tricky part on maschine then using a timeline in a daw.
Glad you found it helpful! Yeah bro, they’re supposed to be releasing the updated arranger next month which should make transitions a lot easier. Will do a follow up then. Thanks for watching!
In a few days i will get my maschine :-)
While waiting, i spend my Time in Watching Tutorials.
Great Beginner Video!
Congrats! Glad to help!
Thank you for this! I'm getting the MK3 tomorrow, so I'm bingeing videos, and this one was super helpful!
Awesome vid...an easy to understand workflow, especially for those of us coming from a traditional DAW environment. Would like to see how you would integrate the new Clips function into this workflow. Thanks...Cheers!
Glad you found it useful! Will see what I can put together. Thanks for watching!
