legit just started watching your videos and you might have become my unofficial coach
You probably know this but if you are looping a sample like your drums. Truncate them in a loop like you did and then hit shift and browse for the audio "plugin". Set the bar length and the loop will automatically adjust to whatever tempo you use. You can have it time stretch or tune down depending on settings.
Bro, I gotta tell you, ive been working on the AKAI MPC system since 1991, became a surgeon with the 3000, the 2000, and the Renaissance, and ive just bought a MK3. So me learning this new layout has been hard for me with all of these extra steps. So ive been watching all of these RUclips videos on how to learn the layout system and everyone has a different way of doing it. But Bro, here's my point; youve spoken in a way that works the BEST for a 48 year old B Boy like myself! At first I was thinking, why the hell did I buy this thing. To, I think this is gonna work! Real Talk! Trust when I say that ive watched 5 or 6 videos for the MK3, and all tree of em have been helpful ya dig? So I dunno how many folk have thanked you, but know ima be one of em!! Good lookin out Fam! Know Dat!!

most excellent. I bought an MK3 back in November and learned SO much by just using it. Im also from the ANALOG ERA AND NEVER QUIT MAKING MUSIC SO IT WAS VERY EASY TO LEARN TO WORK THE mk3. tHIS VIDEO JUST BLASTED ME THROUGH THE FINAL FRONTIER ON IT! THANKS MUCH!

My goodness the first technique is how I chop my samples, I love the total control of my slices down to the zoom in and out , best tutorial I've seen online please keep these videos going!! Subbed!

I sample all of my beats and currently use a Mikro MK2, thinking of upgrading to this Maschine MK3 so I can have more fun sampling on the maschine instead of the software. This is a great tutorial video 👌🏻

I have a question though. When im about to slice my sample as you do at 11:58, it wont come with the pitch tune that i have set. I'd set my pitch tune at -3.00 and when im about to slice the sample, it comes with the old tune at. 0.00.
