Grafitti is Latino Culture since the 40s...Grafitti never started in Philly. Popcorn was never a Grafitti Artist...He was a vandal....dont get it twisted....Grafitti is street art and it Started in NYC by Latinos & Whites very Few Blacks. The elements was put 2GETHER by Zulu Kings in the 80s...that's why Fat Joe said 50/50 since 90% of the Grafitti Crews were Latinos and 95% of the Rappers were Black Americans & 80% of the Dj were Black Americans in the 70s. The BBoys was 70% Black until the 80s which became 70% Latino.
KRS never said they started... All he saying that other cities had they own Style of Musix....Chicago had House Detroit had Techno and Miami had Krunk...All similar to Hip Hop....that's was the main reason for the Elements to distinguish other musix genre 💯

Will he change what's in the history books because of what he said before. He also still believes Herc and Jamaica is the creators of Hip Hop. So, when he says our Culture, which Culture he is referring to? It's just a continuation of Black Arts and history. They never even speak about SEQUENCE and the impact they had on Hip Hop, that's the South. And he and others were heavy into giving James Brown his credit and respect years ago, not now. He trying to steal Black Culture under name of Hip Hop, protect Black Culture regionally everywhere. The Truth was coming so he had to speak on it. Great job and thanks for the Cultural history and updates.

He stopped telling the truth when they started calling him the creator, named his building the birthplace, and put him in the R&R Hall of Fame! This is how we know all of yall who think he created it, got your info second hand like everyone else who believes what you say. Those who claim to have been there in the beginning would know this! Yall have gone so far as to say that the artists in mic check are lying and don't know what they are talking about, even tho they are a part of the movement and you and others are not! A lot of people have gotten accolades for things that they did not create, much like Colombus and the lies we were taught in school and has been regurgitated over and over. Randee has been saying for months that Hip Hop is solely a Puerto Rican creation, and Black Americans had no part in it . @iziahwhite1883 , on point. Many of these cultural components from hip hip come from various places where black folks reside. All the Bx did was FORMULATE it , adding these things and making a SPECIFIC style out of it. With respect to fashion, Ski suit, Tim's, Jordache, London fog, Ceasars, braids, Pumas....have long existed before hip hop. The Bx takes these and other ingredients n combine them into a gumbo, we later call we call hip hip! We then speak it, dressed it, danced it, and in so many ways, lived it. Many areas where our folks reside have thier own respective style and vibe..LA has their vibe, DC has the go go vibe, Detroit has their own vibe (Motown), Philly.....Peace!!

However a lot of our Pr brethren will never understand us or our culture deeply. It's a bigger world than the Bx. We are here and we're here back in the 70's. But our culture transcends the Bx. That's why we are FBA, because we are foundational to this whole country of the USA. Lol. Pr's really needs to research Black American culture. Then it won't be a debate on any of this.
