@@PeopleActivityRadio Yes black Americans have been rhyming on songs since the 1800’s. Black Americans were influenced by each other.
American Freedmen, stand up. We can’t use “black” for reparations. These right winged white supremacist are flooding the courts against DEI and affirmative action. It’s either american freedmen or black immigrant.

Shout out to the platform for having Mr. Nasheed on and allowing him to talk about the seldom told grass roots history of Hip Hop.

Great interview we really influenced the whole world 🌎
Much respect to you, Tariq Nasheed ..
It shows how disrespectful and hateful people are when they purposefully overlook or not mention the creators of these art forms that so many people participate in. The anti Black American hate runs deep in almost every immigrant group here in America.
I thought hip-hop came from the Bronx and I was wrong. When I was listening to Tariq Nasheed started talking about hip-hop history I learned something new.
Can't wait to watch this! Hopefully the movie pays tribute to the "Disco King" Mario and Black Spades outta the Bronx.

Im puerto rican born raised brooklyn and bronx in the 60s. lol im old school head. we are from the universal zulu nation chapters all around nyc and universal. We all use to follow zulu nation bam. Threw events rep the culture for years under Zulu nation and now outta nowhere we are not hip hop lol we been going hard 40 years for hip hop. Look up universal zulu after black spades. Not our fault bam got banned from zulu but we repped for years. Where were you? If you speak to any real hip hop underground heads we all know hip hop culture was created by blacks every element. We know our hip hop history in the zulu nation. Look us up. We are blacks and puerto ricans. I never heard of anyone say latinos created hip hop lol wtf i only saw fat joe. He does not speak for nyricans like us. First time hearing about dr colon does not speaks for us either. Fat joe is mainstream. We rep real hip hop not mainstream pop they try to call hip hop. Been throwing hip hop awareness events for 30 years to raise awarness all for the culture. What have you heads done for hip hop and for the people besides complaing.
