I worked with a man who was in federal prison during the time a famous rapper was killed. He talked about a prisoner he was housed with, crying and beside himself over the rapper's death. He said the other prisoners looked at him and questioned why he was so broken up about a man he did not know and someone he never met. The man told me he thought he was a fool to be so upset over the celebrity's death. We talked about helping the young man with his value system and investing in the right kind of people, not just the imagery.

You know one of the things that I've come to love is how it takes multiple ppl to fight one person vs a one on one that's the one thing I miss about the old days because back then you handle things with your hands and your feet and you're able to stand alone you didn't need to have other people to be there to hold your hand

Lolol bro this is exactly why I stopped working camera crew on low budget hip hop music videos, I have been in 4 separate scenarios where myself and my gear are in LEGIT danger. Dudes coming up on the crew with guns, with knives, stealing equipment for shooting in the wrong area. It's always cheap producers who bend to the will of these artists and say "Oh YeS wE'LL dO wHaTeVeR yOu WaNt" and screw over the crew by forcing them into these scenarios. I finally got to the point where I'd be like "I'm not gonna die for your stupid music video at half my normal rate!" LOL It's honestly almost every genre of low budget music videos. Ever since I started working commercials I haven't had my life in danger on set

That lil baby story ain’t true (to how you explained it). lil baby was paid for a verse and video shoot, when he was in STL for a show he pulled up to do the video. Lil Baby arrived late as hell, so dudes was pissed off he came late. Lil baby went to his sprinter and was putting on his clothes for the video but didn’t tell the dudes and they was mad he didn’t say anything (probably already mad he was hella late).
