These burgers are awesome!!! I used my own ground brisket, which ended up being maybe 60/40 with so much fat in the meat, but the compound butter just sent them over the top!!!! Love The CB!!! Thanks!

@@kungfuman82 im a bourbon or whiskey drinkey but everyone knows a burger goes hand in hand with a beer. Also med rare for good quality burgers is the way to go. Letting it rest properly makes the burger pink all over not red inside. But thats my 2 cents

For my compound butter, I roasted garlic, minced basil and added chopped rosemary. Yum.

OMG... I made these tonight on the charcoal grill. Best burger I've ever made. Compound butter is my friend for life now.
I had never heard the term "compound butter" before this video, but I've been doing that for years. I always use garlic as you said, but I also like putting in some powdered ranch mix. I hadn't thought about the crushed red peppers before, but that sounds delicious so I'll be adding that from now on. Thanks for the great idea! And for giving me the proper name for what I always just called my "grilled cheese butter" (since grilled cheese sandwiches are the primary thing I used it for).
As for the burger, it looks amazing. Definitely have to try this!

I tried this method with rebye and ground beef awesome burger.... my guess loved them super jucie I cooked a second ocasion and got the same result👍👍👍 got the same awesome finish product and the complements

@@DodgyDentist93 Will do, although I may alter the ingredients I mix into the butter "pill" (like garlic, a little chili sauce, and some Montreal Steak rub or maybe a spice concoction I have called Road Kill Grill Seasoning). As Sam suggests, experiment a little. ;-)

Sam I gotta say I've been a huge fan of yours for quite some time now but this compound butter you shared with us has changed our lives! I have used that stuff on parker rolls.. even the store bought kind it makes em crazy good. I've used it on burgers for sure. I even put it on a BLT I cooked my wife for Valentines day dinner. She loved it. I've used it to scramble eggs with. Its just amazing. Thank you for it and so many more tips and tricks!

Here's something I tried once - it was profound ... Finely dice some cremini mushrooms and cook them gently in a dry pan until they're shrunken and mostly dry. Mix them into the ground beef.

Rosemary messes the whole thing up. Did it the second time WITHOUT Rosemary and much better.
yeah i dont know what he did there this is a common thing in germany called kreuterbutter and it is never with rosemary that stuff is just to hard .. i guess you could extract the flavor by letting the rosemary cook in the butter on very low temp and pick it out of the butter before it gets stiff again
