@@Schaaf I was going to say the same thing as dude. I just got a mine this week, and would call myself an intermediate rider. I am thrilled to see it driven like that, and am inspired to do the same, when I am comfortable enough, of course. Cheers
Man, I watch a lot of people ride and many of them ride fast, but not very many can outride the limits of the bike like you seem to do on your rides. I still go back to the GSX-S 750 once in awhile just because it's awesome and scary.
+Schaaf Have you remove it already? I have also xsr and it is toxic sound in every sharp twist. But I dont know if I can find the limit without them. And do you knee down on this bike? :)
Then this nice bike will have a nice owner who will ride her gently. A happy life for sure. But some nights, she will secretly remember that day when Schaaf touched her and made her scream wildly... 😉

Very nice! Love the riding style and this video pretty much made my mind up for me when I was looking for my first 'big bike'. Got a XSR700 and haven't looked back.
Now THAT is how you test ride a bike! It’s a shame the camera went “out of focus” on the instrument cluster haha. I really want one of these bikes now.
I love how you get on it with everything you ride. I wish the feelers weren't on. I feel like you changed your lines because of them. Very cool ride. We don't have enough roads like that in the US.
thanks a lot Aaron! That's just what I love, getting on as well as I can ;) Yes the feelers certainly blocked me. The issue mentioned in the description wasn't exactly insignificant.
thats really fast retro style :) this MT07 come from engine is amazing- performance, durability and great sound ! its nice that next models ( XSR700, Tracer700) have it also instaled. Try XSR900- I had an occasion to test it once...and I fell in love :)
Always cheers me up to watch your uploads, scraping pegs, toes, exhausts an all...... Thanks man......i was plotting a route from Lienz to Bratislava, so thanks for helping me to add that wee section, bumpy as it is... will remind me of Scottish roads :-)
It killed me every time he would come into a corner at 6 or 7k rpm and then downshift bringing it up to 10k (I think this bike redlines at 11k. Might be higher now.). I understand that he's doing it for engine braking and to stay in peak power, but I also know that that engine has loads of torque without the need to downshift. This is all just my opinion but I feel like the same benefits are achievable by just applying a bit of rear brake. It would definitely be easier on the drive train in the end.
That fair enough. I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing on a bike of my own before I got to know it well. Excellent riding btw, then and now.
I know it may be a difficult comparison, I previously owned a BMW R nine T and drove it like a hooligan, it feels super planted in bends to the peg grinding point. I am considering XSR700 as a cheap alternative and I see it has grunt and can be ridden hard in bends, though I hear a lot of pegs grinding too, is it maybe to long the pegs or the nipples? or is it kinda low peg positioning? Have you ever tried the R ninet in this same road? could you get to compare it (Braking wise and roadholding sensation?) Thanks, cool ride in this video
Great vid, you're a sick rider. Just a question on wheelies. On this bike, do you find it easier to do it in 1st gear? Do you think this damages the bike? I'm just on the fence of whether I should try it, but I don't know if it would damage the bike / not sure which speed / gear / rev / technique would be best... Would love your input!
I'm sorry Justin I can't give you any decent input on that since I don't know how to do wheelies :) I sometimes like to lift up the front in first gear. Just with the throttle. It's definitely not the best thing to do for your bike's head bearing for instance ;)
i think if you keep going with this style, we gonna see R.I.P comments at your videos, maybe youre skilled rider ok, but even the motogp riders fall with their awesome skills and extreme bikes and your disadvantage, there are many other factors to kill you, road conditions or other vehicles coming from opposite lane. this is not a track dont forget, and last advice, watch a lot of serious motorcycle crashes, and graphic videos from liveleak.com, this is gonna make you think one more time.
