Thanks for giving us a real idea of where the module mounts! I couldn’t decipher it with the instructions and you made it much easier!

I've watched and listened carefully because it matters to me that I do this job right the first time. Your "show & tell" has done me a great favor. THANKS!

Thanks brother, I'm a big guy, and a tech at the local Chrysler dealership who got tasked with this job lol. But I only had an hour to get this thing knocked out before we closed for the day and those visual instructions, even for a professional tech were complete garbage. I appreciate the video, you helped me avoid a pissed off customer and an aggravated service writer.

I did this last week, but I didn’t do the factory location, ditched the steel plate on the module and it mounts really nice between those two cross pieces under the steering column. I’d already spend an hour or two laying in the driver seat upside down and backwards trying to get that plate and module tucked in where it’s supposed to go…..(they must install that before any body panels or interior goes on)

Idk i have never even seen one come from the factory. It's always added after the fact. Its crazy tight for sure though, and instructions are terrible.

It might work but its not right. The inertial sensors were designed and calibrated for it to be mounted where the instructions say to mount it. If you're going to do it at least do it right...

I watched your video then installed it. The top hole was a bit--.. I'm 6'3 260 so I unbolted (4 female torx bolts) the drivers seat (heated) and slid it back about 8" without disconnecting the seat wires. I also left the shifter in drive with the Ebrake on and wheels blocked for more room, and covered the center console with a bath towel to prevent scratches. GOOD VIDEO!

I plugged all my wires in and then zip tied the module and wires to the bar behind the panel under the steering wheel and all was easy as pie.
