All you need to do is take off the air snorkel and engine cover to get to it
Thank you. My bf is at work, my mechanic isn't answering and I'm going to attend this in my own after watching this bc you made it look so easy 😂
But it sure is. As long as all the right tools are there
How did it go?
Guessing by the silence that it didn't go so well 😂
Great Video, Thanks! I removed my downstream O2 sensor, this video was a huge help.
Great video. Taking the intake off makes it so simple thanks for demonstrating this method.
Do one for control arms! Thanks Haynes you’re the best!
Thank you very much for this educational video.
great channel, clear instructions
Thanks!
Excellent video, and it was free.
thank you very detailed video super useful
What all tools did you use
Do they make videos and tutorials on the car when it is brand new? There is not one speck of dust in that engine bay.
After installation what about the resetting of the SES light? Or if it’s off what about if it comes back on?
Great video are replacement of xygen sensors part of maintenance if so how often should be replaced?
I have never considered them regular maintenance like oil changes, but considering the last 3 cars I bought ended up with oxygen sensor problems within a month of driving….maybe I should pay more attention.
WHERE can I get its
A o2 sensor kit for your vehicle which you can get at any aituparts store
Whats the NAME of the tool you use for take out the oxigeno sensor please can you give me the name

I have a 2010. Nissan Sentra. How many o2 sensors do i have
You have 2 oxygen sensors. The upstream and downstream sensor.

Did you ever fix your car? I have code p0420 on a 2012 Nissan Sentra
Did you find a fix? I have the same code
If the d part is too hard to get off use wd40
And run the car alittle I'm going to try it
I see two at the bottom how many Total
Can anybody tell me the name of what the o2 sensor actually screws into
Header; exhaust manifold
Tss son 2 sensores que mal rollo
hola me pdorias decir como cambiar el sensor de arriba sin quitar el cuerpo de admison por favor, gracias
I'm pretty sure this 1st one (upstream) is NOT a O2 sensor, but a Air Fuel Ratio sensor. The 2nd one (downstream) is a O2 sensor.
Yup i with you on that
No. That car comes with one 02 downstream sensor. That's what this is.
*L I K E !!!*
That is not where it's located on 2012 sentra
You dont have to remove all those parts the sensor can still be accessed with enough room without all that work.
How???
@@gavinsingh4450 use an oxygen sensor socket and extension and a universal socket to break it loose. I did it and was no problem.
@@NeutronX101 Is yours a 2011?
Isn't it covered by the manifold?
@@gavinsingh4450 2012
@@gavinsingh4450 2008 to 2012 are same design. You can remove the heat shield for more room. It's only two bolts.
thats not where my sensor is located
I know on my 2009, the sensor is also in a different spot.
@@mikeb6902 i put a new sensor in yesterday and immediately it triggered a po138 code. lol
@@rob99rst bad sensor?
@@mikeb6902 i changed it when i put a new cat on
@@rob99rst what I meant was the new sensor could have been bad, what sensor did you get? I know it probably costs more, but for any engine sensor, I always buy OEM.
All this for stupid sensor
IAM not buying anymore Nissans, too complicated to work on them,,
