I think Christopher Nolan picks his actors/actress not based off of their reputations that is their roles in the past doesn't matter to Nolan. If he's really impressed with Harry Styles to even cast him or Heath Ledger, at that time, everybody hated why he gave the role to Heath. So if Noah still has potential or the passion and take acting seriously then why not. If he likes being casted the same character over and over again and doesn't want to see growth in his career then also why not lol.

I honestly feel kind of bad for him. He’s dug himself into this hole where he only gets hired for one role: the rom com love interest. What happens when he gets too old for that role? Cole Sprouse was a good child actor but not that gone., KJ Apa and Camila Mendez are horrible actors and don’t do anything besides teeny bop films. Lili Reinhart is ok, but she also doesn’t really do challenging roles. Madelaine Petsch can be good but she’s really wasting her talents on that show.

dear rafa honestly i watched that dating app movie and i thought the plot was good, he probably did too, the thing is that the writing was too horrible at times and the production was like a highschool project but i kept watching just to see if the nerd would end up with the blondie 😂 i just fast forwarded a lot, especially the noah ‘s character and his friends scenes ( they were soooo cringy)

I think “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” has some style. I think you can definitely see some Godard influence in the compositions (Une femme este Une femme, Le Mepris) and the bedroom gave me Jacque Demy vibes. It feels like a visual cousin of “ Me earl and the dying girl”

I watched To All The Boys because I read the book when I was younger and thought it was a cute adaptation. Then, I tried watching SWIPED (for whatever reason I don't remember now) and wished I was dead only 10 minutes in. Stopped watching it and hate Centineo ever since
