    It's also important to differentiate between purchasing a safe to protect your documents from a fire and/or purchasing a safe for the express purpose of security. There are plenty of companies and safes out there that cover all ends of the spectrum from flooding, fires and other types of events including picking locks but there are also safes that are item specific. Fire OR Non destructive entry.

    I bought a Sentry Safe in January and I can confirm it's got the same latch concept going on. The wafer lock is a joke but again, it's meant for fire and water protection and not high security.

    Thanks man! I lost my key and you literally saved the day! I am selling my car and my title was locked in my safe, and I couldnt figure out how to pick it until I watched this video and realized my lock was in the opposite position of the lock in your video. So then by watching the video I was able to to pick it very quickly. BTW I've literally been picking for a week since I got my first pick set on my birthday, and I was legitimately able to pick my sentrysafe within 30 seconds... So that being said I will be changing safes ASAP. 😂

    Looking at it makes me wonder how well it actually isolates what's inside from the fire and keeps it from harm. Sure, fire's not going to reach it directly but does it isolate well enough in order to keep the temperature inside from reaching critical values? If it gets hot enough inside paper might go up in flames anyway

    • @LegalLockPicker
      @LegalLockPicker  4 года назад +2

      Sascha Schneider if you go online and type sentry safe fire tests you can see that even before the room flashes of it hot enough the inside melts quicker and destroys the contents even before the fire touches it. It’s rubbish honestly
