Got the zx7's about a month ago. First tournament with them shot a 65. Second tournament with them I shot my career best score and also set the course record with a 62 (-9). absolutely love them. Just got them stock with the modus 120 S.
Bot a set of ZX4 with senior KBS shafts and absolutely love them. Long, high with a slight draw bias for me give me lots of confidence. Sound and look decent for a game improvement club. Check them out.

Would appreciate your thoughts on loft gap between the 4i and 5i in the zx5. I don't understand why it's only 2 Deg separating these clubs which suggests it won't distance gap properly. I'm so tempted to go bend my new zx5 1 deg weaker from 5-PW just because I'm getting OCD!!!!
This is a good question. Ultimately, it's all about how far you hit each club. Generally, you'll see loft gaps get smaller as you go further in the set. For example, in most sets, the loft gap between 4-iron and 5-iron is smaller than 9-iron to PW. As you decrease in loft, you're hitting the ball further and naturally dispersion size will increase, so the effect of a loft change will increase as well. If you're able to, head to a driving range or a spot where you can track distances with those clubs and just verify that you have 10-15 yards between them.
So if I need a higher launch then I’d want to avoid these low spinning irons? For context, I’m a stack n tilter and tend to have a low ball flight. Currently gaming Zx5.

This is going to be player dependent and what a golfers attack angle is like. Off a mat indoors some golfers avoid hitting down as much leading to lower spin numbers inside. I know if I had a really steep attack angle I would adjust just for comfort reasons. I spin my irons higher of grass. - Thomas

Just did an iron fitting, it came down to the P770 and ZX7, ended up going with the ZX7 as I hit them a bit more consistently.

I just shot my personal best 77 with the ZX5. I was around 90 before. Great amazing feel when you hit the grass. Love the clubs

Wouldn't really think so. The 7i is 31 in ZX5 and 32 in ZX7. They're really only 1* different.

I thought Zx4s were meant to launch higher. Was the launch angle lower than Zx5 because the Zx4 is really more of a 5i than 7i?
How do these compare with last years model the z585? Would it be worth the upgrade?

Tried the Zx5 with modus 105 shaft was only spinning 4500 .. love the feel of the club what can I do to gain more spin… I swing about 90 moh
More loft, possibly instead of STD specs 1-2 degrees weaker, or increasing your attack angle - Thomas
