Special Thanks to Paul Abbot of Performance Oriented for explaining this procedure to me. He is THE Guru of Porsche Carburetors. His retirement is a great loss of knowledge to the Porsche restoration community.

Please be safe. Carburetors have caustic and flammable chemicals and the tools used in this video require safety precautions such as gloves, safety glasses, and common sense.

Just ran across your Video, I deal with Weber and Dellorto carbs for VW Beetle applications. I see that many of these old carbs need this done to them. Thanks for sharing

This was great information! I have some Italian Weber 44s that have Lord knows how much crud in those passages. I figured there had to be a way to drill, clean, and plug passages back and this video was helpful in teaching that. Thanks!

Glad it helped. Paul, Performance Oriented wrote up the procedure, but reading it is different from seeing it done.
