    Turn the header around and it won't burn your leg. I put a predator header on my lifan engine. A little help from a adapter kit a friend made for me.

    Any upgrade or recommendation is strictly what I have done. You should do your research and make the changes or upgrades that work for you and your riding style.

    Yeah I had a mini bike with a predator 79cc and it liked back pressure more than a header

    • @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles
      @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles  4 года назад

      Yes, I think you are right, some engines, well actually most require some back pressure to run optimum, especially stock engines.

    You can cut the baffle instead of just removing it, cut it down half way it works great for 2ts adds a noticeable amount of power

    Could you please tell me where you got your motor mount the aluminum one where did you buy it thank you

    • @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles
      @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles  2 года назад

      There are two aluminum mounts I use. One is a adjustable plate engine adapter, the other is a wedge engine adapter. Both were bought from gooowersports.com The aluminum wedge adapter has been changed to a newer all steel style. It still does the same thing as the other one. It was originally designed to put a Predator engine in a Moto Vox or Moto Mega mini bike, which came with the vertical Lifan 80 cc or 105 cc engine.

    Try it with the baffle off. You'll probably gain 3 or 4 extra mph

    What jet are you using in your carb and do you know the rpm to are topping out at

    • @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles
      @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles  10 месяцев назад

      In that engine I am using whatever size came stock, probably around a 70 +, RPM's I don't know but would assume with gov. bypass around 4400+

    You ever think about trying the flexible poo poo exhaust. I have one on my Lifan. Doesn't increase power but sounds a lot nicer. when you going to let us see this thing rip. Been dying to see the difference between the lifan and predator.

      You know Marc, I think you have convinced me to switch to the flex poo poo, I just did a video riding it, its a little shaky and has some gurgling sound at times, but I get to a closed road and open it up it gets to 35 mph, but thats with the analog speedo, so I'd say maybe 33 34 mph..

    u try the poopoo yet? im curious. what card headerU run?

    • @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles
      @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles  4 года назад

      No, I haven't tried it yet. I'm busy with a rear brake conversion right now. I've tried a header pipe, I've tried a header with a small muffler. So far what has worked the best has been the adapter with the 2 stroke style muffler. It has given me the most top speed. These stock engines seem to run best with some back pressure.

    Where do i get a clutch

    • @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles
      @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles  3 года назад

      You can get a Max Torque clutch at most go kart supply houses, also at some of the motorized bike stores the only trouble is they carry mostly cheap Chinese clutches. Gasbike has a new Hilliard clutch, they are calling it a "heavy duty" but what it is, is a undercover race clutch. It has the lightweight race shoes and calibrated springs with a hardened hub, they want $79 for it but it is worth it because it is a clutch made specifically for a motorized bike.

    No manual clutch?

    • @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles
      @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles  4 года назад

      Most 4 strokes use a centrifugal clutch, 3 D Motorsports made a very good one, but they shut their doors and they no longer make them, they sold for about $300.

      beau brummel Sportsman flyer still includes a manual clutch in their 80 build. Im gonna try to get a hold of them & see if I can get one.
      The compression release/start would be nice. Can you just order a jackshaft & use a crank on both sides?

  • @danielkelly4080
    @danielkelly4080 4 года назад

    the hilliard is faster tull it breaks

    • @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles
      @beaubrummelmotorizedbicycles  4 года назад

      Yes it is, it is to bad they won't fix their issue with the extreme duty clutch.Because they work well, until they break.
