Hope you enjoy it!!! Please share. Since Dec 2022 I have been teaching myself the tech and generating thousands of images, building a whole world (yes there’s more to this with whole storylines!!) and I am excited to share a longer trailer following this and so much more. As a filmmaker, I wanted this to feel extremely cinematic. Pretty chuffed with what I was able to achieve.
P.s. If someone also wants to fund me to make this movie, holler at ya girl because you know I will… and I want to .. oh boy do I want to.

As cool as these A.I. generated bits of media are, I can't help but feel concerned about the potential global implications A.I. has regarding how it could be used to manufacture truth for political gain.

Fortunately, there are lifetimes worth of existing films to watch and enjoy.
This gets me really excited because my next film project will take a lot of time, work and funds to get going and I can’t imagine a better option to create a proof-of-concept than these AI tools. Shooting one is out of the question, animating one in UE5 would take forever and I might as well just make the whole movie at that point. I can’t wait until I have the time to work with this and do some solid pre-pre-viz!

That's a good idea for now, but I think you're failing to see the bigger picture... We will soon be able to produce entire movies with AI tools alone, not just a "pre-pre-viz."
This has the potential to fully replace cameras, actors, film sets, and crew members.
Sure, it still looks weird now but it won't stay like that for long.
We're approaching the point where anyone with a good PC will be able to make something that looks like _AVATAR_ almost for free.
@neb6 plus I think it’s in a lot of filmmakers’ best interests to at least learn the tools for their future implications, whether you’re actually showing parts of the AI proof of concept in a pitch or not. But I know for sure it could help communicate aesthetic ideas or entire sets and scenes to the art department, if you’re not already a concept artist (and I’m not) or can’t pay one for previz (and I can’t… yet). The main challenge there is paying close enough attention to your prompts and the final images so that it communicates your ideas precisely and you don’t just settle on what looks cool. Because they can influence the look of your film and you want to make sure you have creative control over the final product, not let any potentially lazy or derivative AI generation influence that. As I’m formulating my approach, I aim to use it as a way to point to specific elements, like color palette, lighting, framing style, and various points of art direction, and let the crew work their magic. Not, like, “It should look exactly like this AI image.”
I wouldn't call it a trailer, more of a teaser.
But I would definitely watch it, just for the visuals.

Thanks!! Although Regular movies mostly use CGI so all this does is just change how we pitch and how we become more efficient with the tech when harnessing its powers in film :)
By the time they have completed this movie they will have advanced so far ahead of expectations due to CHTPA quickness in speed to learn and development of A.I. you won't even see it as A.I.

And the cuts go with the beat of the music? Thats more annoying than anything, with its strobing effect.
Another thing about AI generated videos.. theres no real plot or storyline. Just a bunch of somewhat random images thrown together.

Does this technology seem a little unnerving to you?
I mean.. it's cool and all, but... it could easily be used to rapidly reshape the world politically. I find it kind of spooky.
Random collection of hi-res images. Not really a film trailer.
But if you needed to show an exec or investor what your movie would look like BEFORE you’ve shot a single scene, don’t have the illustration skills to do your own animation, the funds to pay an illustrator / animator nor the time to do either (what a lot of filmmakers would relate to), this would be a game-changer.
@@rizzo-films The fact that anyone can do AI imagery quick cheapens the return. It’s not going to make a huge impact in terms of getting film funding IMHO.
@@howardsend6589 how do you know it won't make an impact? I'm not even talking about finishing your film with AI, I'm talking about a proof-of-concept. A visual aid that conveys what you want to create before you've been able to create it. A standard pitch deck is text and still imagery, with some video and audio samples. You can shoot a proof-of-concept, but not every story can be told on a small or no budget, and not everyone starts off with any budget at all. But maybe you want to give whomever you're pitching to more to go off of than example shots or clips from other films, and your own personality. Generative models could be a helpful middle-ground between actually producing new content in the traditional (expensive) way and your elevator pitch. And yes, anyone can make AI imagery, but translating a specific vision into a prompt, getting it how you want and producing consistent, captivating results, that takes some skill. And above all, if the story isn't there, then no one will care anyway. Not everyone can tell a compelling story. AI doesn't do everything for you.
@@rizzo-films You have convinced yourself it has worth. Good luck with that. I think AI generated video looks gimmicky and obvious … a bit like tired stock photos used from image libraries.

Also, we use stock image and video libraries all the time in advertising, especially since the pandemic. At my agency, we use them for like 80% of our visual assets in commercials that aren't custom animations. Documentary filmmakers and news outlets also use these libraries as a resource. But for some reason you've convinced yourself that those have no value, either. You'll need some luck with that as well.

I just don’t understand the appeal. I much rather people hire actors and support writers then make AI stuff that doesn’t even look 10% as good
I agree with hiring actors and supporting writers, this is not a tool to replace those roles. As a filmmaker its deeply important to me! This is just an example of a tool that can be used to illustrate an idea or a concept when you don't have the money and resources to make it yet. Thats what I'm doing here :)

The appeal is that movies would no longer be held prisoners to the agendas, ideals, and machination of the rich. Ai film making would revolutionize entertainment, even the poor man can make a movie. For a century Hollywood and mainstream media has had a monopoly on films.

@@KingUsyknot fundamentally in an unethical way, though. Adobe uses its own content in its generative AI. As a creative, I like to think that AI will never actually replace human creativity, even if that comes down to the human mind that writes the prompts and curates what is generated. What we might see though is a generation of people who are born into a world of generative AI and are extremely comfortable with it, not as a new tool like it is with all of us now, but a default tool. It will be a time where the debate over AI is over and most of us have just come to rely on it (like print artists and photographers criticizing Photoshop when it first came out, now everyone uses it or something like it and the debate is irrelevant). But even then, I believe that there will be a considerable amount of people who value human creations. Not because it has “a certain something” or is more emotional, but because human artwork is self-reflexive. Our work says things about us and the human condition, and what we say through that caries deeper meaning for a human audience. What can AI say about us? As of now, if it says anything about us, it comes through in the prompt because, you know, it was written by a human.
