Sweet ride man! When I was a teen, in the '70's, you saw vans like this all over. I always wanted one, with a waterbed in the back, a popular add-on back then. Though as a teen I never thought of how hard it would be to keep the waterbed from freezing in the winter, I just thought about the make-out possibilities. As we said back then, "Keep on trucking" "Peace out"
Great Story in the description. I was an 80's kid, born in the mid 70's. My family had one of these in the mid 80's. It was pretty ragged by then....the Midwest winters destroyed the exterior. Blue shag carpet 😂
It's expensive to bring back a van to show condition, and even then it's not the same.. but possible- to have an original survivor in this shape, well that's EXCEPTIONAL. So fun to look at. Veeerrrryyyy cool man!
Very well kept! God I miss those days of the custom van. I took an old Maw Bell Chevy van and customized it in 1979. It was no where near that nice, but it did the job, lol.
I always did love these vans 1970 - 1980, hotrod harry your van is out of sight , if I had the money I would buy this van from you, all I can say is wow
Take's me back!!! I bet none of you remember the Denim Machine? A collaboration between Ford, Levi's and Pepsi-Cola. It was featured in Van-in Magazine during the 70's.It was offered in a sweepstakes. I stole every contest card out of the magazines trying to win that thing. Imagine a 17yr old in high school with a set of wheels like that!! DAMN!!!!
Nice VAN!!. Nice to see it sill all original. Chevy Van from the 70's has been my dream for ages, always just out of my price range or justification spending that amount of money. Down here in New Zealand they tend to triple in price as soon as they land. But I did have a CF Bedford van a English GM van, a Chevy's little sister. KEEP LIVING THE DREAM For both of us.
nice. my brother had a 75 vantastic conversion. outside wasnt as nice as it was from up in chicago but inside was somewhat similar wish i would have bought it. i remember it having a 350 in it with straight pipes, loud and slow as heck
I do not know where they got the steering wheel. It was put on back in 1977 by the shop that did the customizing "Van-tastic" by Hop Cap in Bremen Indiana
I love it but where is the Shaggin' Bed? Mine was a 1973 Ford E100. It had a 302, with a three on the tree and port windows. I had the same carpet but it was orange.
Why you sell it i had a 1979 i bought new customized it it was silver all pinstriped beutiful van i reget ever selling it i put over 400k miles on it it was in great shape but the motor was tired
Sick throwback van! Inside looks like a mini 70's night club you see in old movies. lol How could you sell her? Check out my custom motorcycle van: ( I kept the outside looking like a work van to keep it stealth): ruclips.net/video/XmruWX5hDNo/видео.html
