    This kit is fantastic because it includes everything you need to get started with liquid cooling your CPU (except for the heat gun). That includes the D5 pump/reservoir combo, the CPU block, six pipes, multiple connectors, three Corsair QL120 RGB fans, a Commander Pro, RGB hub and the radiator.

    Love just about all of the hydro x products, especially the radiators, tubing, and fittings. However, that CPU block needs some work. After trying two different versions of the XG7 CPU block on two different platforms, AM4 and LGA1700, it just doesn't cool very effectively. I could never get enough mounting pressure on either one. CPU blocks from other manufacturers offer superior cooling performance.
    Awesome video sir! Fantastic looking build! Love it!

    Got a question for ya. I’m trying to decide wether to get the 5000t or the 7000d case. I see you’ve tested both and was wondering what you would recommend for a water cooling build. I have tons of room for the case so that’s not a problem. It just seems the 7000 would be better because of all the extra space to fit things. Lemme know what ya think. Thank you and thank you for the videos!

    • @TheProvokedPrawn
      @TheProvokedPrawn  Год назад

      Yeah the 7000 would certainly make life easier and you could use a larger radiator if you wanted to (420mm) but the 5000 was still great tbh

    Nice build. I'm torn between building my new system in either the 5000D AF or the 5000T. Planning to use a custom loop down the line. But 400€ for a case is expensive. Allthough you do get a core xt, LL fans and some led strips which makes it worth it I guess. How much does this build weigh? I want to put it on my desk but I don't know if my desk will collapse under the weight. 🤔

    • @TheProvokedPrawn
      @TheProvokedPrawn  2 года назад +1

      I'd go for the 5000D airflow personally, as it is mucho money. As for the weight I'm afraid I don't know. It's not something I checked. At least 15kg I'd say, probably 20?

      case prices are nuts these days! More money for a bunch of tin and glass than a pretty capable CPU? What?!

    • @gambino883
      @gambino883 2 года назад

      I've done some calculations based on the Corsair website prices:
      Corsair 5000T case: €429.90 / £349.99 / $399.99
      Corsair 5000D AF case: €204.90 / £154.99 / $149.99 (discount)
      CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT: €64.90 / £49.99 / $59.99
      -CORSAIR RGB LED Lighting PRO Expansion Kit (4x led strips): €34.90/ £29.99 / $44.99-
      Lets say for 6 LED strips it costs: €52.35 / £44.99 / $67.49
      Corsair LL120 fans (x3): €89.70 / £71.97 / $119.97
      In total then for a modified 5000D:
      €: 204.90+64.90+52.35+89.70 = *€420.85*
      £: 154.99+49.99+44.99+71.97 = *£321.94*
      $: 149.99+59.99+67.49+119.97 = *$397.44*
      Here in Europe I'd pay €9 for hinged doors and a PSU window. So this case does seem interesting to consider over a 5000D for me personally.

    Hello i have a Question maybe you have a idea,
    I bought an XD5 pump with a tank, installed it into my system, and after filling it, I noticed that the pump isn't turning on. There's no water pumping, no sound, nothing.
    My motherboard is an MSI B650 Edge Wifi, and I have a 750W power supply from Thermaltake. I already ordered a second one from Amazon, which also doesn't start. I connected the pump using a Molex to SATA adapter; fans connected via the SATA cable are running. There's 20 volts coming out of the Molex adapter.

    on the corsair site under the 14mm tubes there are different variants of tubing and 2 of them are similar the crystal clear and the satin transparent one.
    in this set which of this 2 are in i need to buy more for gpu block.
