Top 20 Video Games Who DESERVE a (New) Movie!
Metroid: Other M, very specifically. It's more of a movie than a game.
All of the Metal Gear Solid games, and the Monkey Island series
Isn't every video game like a movie?
@@adamhoward1408 technically a movie where you feels you're part of it and main character even if you play interactive games
We are still waiting for The Wolf Among Us 2.
I still wish the Game of Thrones Tell Tale Game was one of lucky games to come back and continue.
@@dreamguardian8320 What about Guardians of the Galaxy, Minecraft: Story Mode, and Batman?
@@heroboygamebase2286 I know those are other good TTG's, but GOT was my most favorite, because I found it better than the TV series.
@@dreamguardian8320 man I don't know why does that games gets hate but when I played that game it become one of my favourite telltale story game it was fantastic I hoped someone makes sequel of that got games
@@dreamguardian8320 it's really sick when you get addicted playing game with new story of game of thrones of different characters and you don't get to watch or play full ending to series
Uncharted 4 was made in 2016?! The graphics hold up till 2024
Facts it still looks amazing
Agreed.
Hell yeah. I still find myself going back to it all these years later. It’s aged like wine
When Videogames are far much better movies than most of today's Hollywood movies nowadays.
Right, like fr. Most of these video games would be a lot better than any of Hollywood's most recent movies. With some exceptions like Dune series, Oppenheimer, Anything but you, any recent animated movies like Spiderman Across the Spiderverse, and so on.
people sh*t on LA Noire, but it was a really ambitious game using the MotionScan tech
Why people shit on that it was greatest detective open world gta style game and there are many people who wants sequel or remake atleast
I absolutely enjoyed playing LA Noire on the PS3 . Wish they made a remake or remaster of it or give it a sequel for next gen
@@thegameking3931 i love the game, i replay it regularly and am desperate for a sequel or another game like it, i just mean that it gets made fun of a lot and is kind of a meme online
The facial animations are ass and way over exaggerated for a system that said it would have near realistic scans of people
Ambition doesn't equal good
No Detroit? Thats crazy
That's what I was expecting. At least a mention.
@@sidtucker3660 technically instead of heavy rain he should have said quantum dreams games since every one is interactive games
Ghost of Tsushima would’ve been a good honorable mention. It’s basically a Kurosawa film.
agreed
I think Ratchet and Clank games, especially the last one deserve to be on the list too.
There's another game Series that feels like an interactive movie/series, and that game series is Persona! The Persona Games, especially Persona 3 through 5 feels like an interactive anime series where you are the main character. I love those games!
Rumble Roses (2004) a Konami Wrestling Game that's basically a mid to late 2000's Spike TV television movie with a sprinkle of Dead Or Alive at least In my opinion still better than GLOW on Netflix RIP
Death Stranding does a great job at building up tension and making you afraid to come face to face with the enemies. But when you acturally do, you realize that they're so easy to deal with that don't need to sneak around.
Telltale games are deserving to be no 1 in this list.
Agreed.
Quantum dreams should be no.2 and life is strange studio should be no.3
The “ Take care of a quick choir.. just remember to press X” line had me dying! 💀 That definitely hit home.
Ghostbusters: the Video Game (2009) by Atari was actually adapted from the "Ghostbusters 3" script and used most of the original cast to voice their characters. If that doesn't count as a video game that is essentially an interactive movie, I don't know what does.
Yeah.
I remember playing Assassin's Creed Revelations and Uncharted Drake's Deception back in 2011, and thinking that their graphics were so cutting edge that it felt more like I was watching a film rather than playing a game
I had the pleasure of playing GoTG earlier this year and it is such an underrated game. Wonderfully enjoyable.
The dark pictures anthology games, tomb raider franchise, mass effects games and silent hills franchise many others too. Fantastic job on the video mojo plays of videos games more like movies.
I don't know how Mafia and Mass Effect were left off this list. Mafia is a trilogy that spans across 3 different time periods through the eyes of three different characters.
Mass Effect 1 through 3 was excellent sans the obvious ending to 3. Almost every major decision made impacts the next game. These two had as much of a place on this list as RDR did.
Yep the mafia games are basically interactive gangster movies.
Top 10 video games you probably Didn't know was a sequel to movies
Wasn't on the list but Ghost of Tsushima.
I know that a movie about it is in development, directed by the John Wick director, but I'd just like to throw it out there
What about The Order 1886? That's almost the length of a movie with the black bars like a movie and feels like a movie to play
The Marvel Spider-Man games are not more movie than game. That would imply there is hardly any gameplay in those games, which is not true.
How could you list Unchartered, God of War and NOT Gears of War, Bioshock, and/or Mass Effect?
Because the trending Sony hate.
@@israelsu1757 okay for whom movies sound to be hating lol. I probably choose games with cinematic experience and I love interactive games
Tell Tale Games, (sigh) how I miss it😢 I know their trying to bring it back, along with The Wolf Among Us, but it just won't feel the same, now that Game of Thrones is gone and dose not seem to be able to ever come back. That was my favorite TTG, and I found it better than the TV series. ⚔❄
*game has character development and cinematic cutscenes
Watchmojo: “yeah, this is basically a movie”
Great Video, I love L.A. Noire even though im not a fan of cops😂😂.
I still remember playing Kingdom Hearts 3 when it came out. A cutscene was so long my controller went into power save mode and shut off from not touching it for so long
Top 10 Best and Worst Video Game Movie Adaptions
That's exactly what I call video games now a days. Interactive Movies
Top 20 Video Games Who DESERVE a (New) Movie!
Sly Cooper deserves it's movie what got even it's trailer! 😢
No movie will ever be as good as the game its based on so what's the point?
@@Nov-5062 Because Sonic the Hedgehog and the Super Mario Bros were different but faithful and loving. As long whoever's writing about them loves what makes them great, they'll be in good hands, whether in games or movies, and that's OK
@@Nov-5062thats simply just not true.
@@Nov-5062also fallout and tlous tv shows just proved you wrong as well.
Sly Cooper 4 Thieves in Time is just a movie with the most Biggest Cliffhanger in History of Video Games. Because we can't get Sly 5, Sly deserves it's movie what got even a trailer many years ago. 😮😢
I watched a friend play through all three Original God of War games back to back. We did it over a weekend, and in to the week, and when it was done I felt like I had binged three movies, or three seasons of a TV series even. It was neat. Did the same thing with the Kingdom Hearts series, though that took longer. 👍🏻
You forgot Beyond Good & Evil. It was a perfect blend of sci fi and spy flicks.
Taking a break from an Alan Wake 2 cutscene lol wtf...what a joke
Insomniac Spider Man series are like another series of Spider-Man movies. They are some of the best Spider Man movies as well.
Plus I use TASM 2 suit in Marvel's Spider Man 2 to make ot close to TASM 3
Harold Halibut?
I'm playing on the Xbox I'm enjoying it
@@thebiggerreality18 got bored and deleted it
Immortality, it’s a game about watching movies. No mention of a single FMV game, games that are quite literally interactive movies.
My first game I played that was a Visual Novel game was Danganronpa on the PS Vita. It got me hooked on the series and in to VN. Playing Ace attorney series on the Switch and loving it. I think that VN are under rated to other people because of the heavy text based instead of all actions. I played most of these games and loved most of them. For me sometimes I enjoy setting down the controller and enjoying the long cut scenes.
I want Five Nights at Freddy's games to be like these
i like how your starting to be more creative with the videos its more fulid and engaging
You forgot Detroit become human game
The fact that Tekken didn't make the cut on this list is a HUGE SLAP in the face to even all the most hardcore of fighting game fans like me, especially given its ongoing storyline from the start of the franchise by itself.
The Life is Strange Series came to mind
Bit of an honorable mention, but a major part of "Quantum Break" is basically binge-watching a live-action TV show.
The Metro games as well.
Life is Strange
I agree with this list, but there’s a few others that were left out that comes to mind. Any of the platinum games like Bayonetta and Astral Chain are definitely fun to watch, A Plague Tale is another cool one, and Detroit Becomes Human is another great one!
The Quarry
Detroit Become Human should have been on this list
Agreed. It should be in the top 3 atleast
Red dead 2 is a prequel not a sequel
Is Kratos the size of a normal man?
Even in other ports is like movie too:
NES/Famicom:
Vice Project Doom: The more you play, the more discover the true nature of the game itself, especially the characters
Ninja Gaiden series: One of the earliest game with plenty of cutscenes
SNES/Sega Genesis:
Maximum Carnage: Comic book style movie
Playstation 1:
Metal Gear Soild: Cutscenes with melodramatic twist and stock footages
Covert Ops Nuclear Dawn: Have you watched Under Siege 2?
Mass Effect felt like a huge movie.
Yeah games can be art, and more than moving your character to the left or boring shT for youtubers content
ive seen millions of more players playing these games than first person shooter multiplayers.
Keep going Mojo plays❤🎉
Don't forget Final Fantasy Series (1987-Present)
Honestly, I was hoping to see detroit become human and mass effect in the list.
Both the characters on this thumbnail are named Sam.
What a coincidence.
Cant believe you left out Indigo Prophecy
Personally, I don’t mind these kinds of Games, I would even say I appreciate them, especially if they are done well.
All the mafia games are basiclly interactive gangster films.
The Xenosaga series on PS2
Yes it did make on our list on the PS4 or on the PS3 or on the switch like La Noire and Red Dead Redemption Series and Resident Evil Series and Until Dawn and Uncharted Series is more movie than game or games
lol that Death Stranding bit. game is 95% gameplay and 50+ hours long. do you even play the games you are talking about?
Imagine not putting Mass Effect on here
Zero Escape series???
Every game is basically a movie to me
There are eight King's Quests, not seven.
Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy
Madden 21 Face of the Franchise
what?!… where’s “Detroit: Being Human”??? ….and no “Ghost of Tsushima”??!!
La noire deserves another game or 3
Where is Asura's Wrath???
It was the only game that made 😢
In my opinion, a good game has to have cutscenes and a good story good characters... So I think games with many cutscenes are just perfect for me
The cutscenes in the Uncharted games were so long sometimes when they'd end I'd just sit there, like I forgot I was playing a game, waiting for the character move on its own.
Thats one of the reasons the uncharted games are so amazing imo.
The longest Uncharted cutscene is still very short compared to Metal Gear Solid cutscenes.
Sooner or later where not going to have nothing to play, might as well grab my Popcorn and soda and enjoy these movies 😁🍿🥤
why there a empty room at 11:20
Fun list
Where the hell is the witcher 3 wild hunt!?
detroit become human
Where's Mass Effect trilogy?
Imagine playing videos games. Couldn't be modern gaming.
How was The Last of Us just a quick mention?
Awesome
Uncharted 4 would be a perfect movie
Damn no Max Payne 3 or GTA 4
TT games is here, but not DontNod games?? LoLz.. Even 'Devil May Cry' series can compete with this List.. and Ghost of Tsushima is a movie as well..
So half of the Playstation roster?
let me guess.. most of these are playstation exclusives? because movie game are a best way to described playstation exclusives
Xenosaga
Pickkng Heavy rain ocer Detroit becomrs human feels wronf ngl
Scarlet nexus. Final fantasy
A WAY OUT?
Where's Modern Warfare?
What about Detroit become human?
What's that brotha?
FF16 better be on this list
Detroit becomes human
the fact that they didn't put the last of us part 1 in this list is utter bullshit.
