It was never said it was the only weapon. The reason the subweapons are also effective is Because in Symphony of the Night when you play Richter Mode they are mostly labled as holy weapons. The Cross is Holy and hit, Holy Water is Holy and Fire, the Axe is Holy and Hit, the Knife has Holy and Stab etc. Almost everything of Richter's Weapon Arsenal has Holy Properties
Since Super Castlevania IV was basically a retelling of the original Castlevania, I wish they had reimagined the sequel Simon’s Quest and done it right on the SNES
Agreed. I like the concept of Simon's quest and do think it could have been much better on SNES. Imagine a Simon's quest type of game that's similar to Secret of Mana.
I know maybe it's late but try too look for Castlevania 2 chronicles it's a fan made game based on Simon's quest, and it's very well done, it gives vibes of a remake but on the SNES

man SC 4 that final fight. Its one of the best setups ever made for a final boss. The music is amazing. The artwork is timeless. Everything about it is about perfect.
Pt4 when you fight his second form when the music kicks in is something I will alway remember from when I first played in years ago. The crucifix was alway a clutch weapon
No Rondo, no X6800, no Haunted Castle, no Vampire Killer (MSX) As for what classifies as "classic", X360 is nearly 20 years old now. Better switch to calling them by bits since Lament of Innocence counts as retro now.
I only do the classic fights, anything over 32 bit is too new for me :). Symphony of the night was more of a Metroid game, than a Castlevania game. Who wants to play Castlevania when you can't even use a Belmont character or the whip for the main story line? I get that you can unlock him but you have to run the entire game first on another character, then the game is in easy mode after that and isn't the same. It was sad to me because Castlevania 4 was my favorite Castlevania because of the freeform whip, and they brought back for this game, but you can't even do the game on the regular difficulty with it. Maybe I'll try those DS games eventually.
Good question. I think it's actually because it was the first fight I recorded and didn't actually record during the first 2 phases. After that I went back and played CV1 & 2 and recorded the Dracula fights, since I had recently beat those games prior. Maybe I'll go back and try to get a full video on that one. It's been a hot minute.
During the fights with our Prince of Darkness... why did they always have him in some of the crappiest throne chairs.... ive always thought the throne chair was supposed to be the chair of all chairs... or just have him in his casket. Not both. For example... Castlevania: Curse of Darkness. To me, Dracula was at his best but his intro was cheesy. Why have the casket near his throne? That casket shouldve been out in the middle of the floor limiting Hector from all that room.
No monster in Castlevania 4? Lame. The traditional way of Castlevania is to fight Dracula and then fight his true form. I put up with a lame jazz soundtrack just for that? That's 3 hours I'll never get back. But dam that one on Genesis is epic AF! When the screen goes black and gets all wavy then Draculas monster form appears, such a great boss battle!
This holy whip is the only thing that can kill Dracula.
*kills Dracula by throwing axes in every game.

The atmopshere of SCVIV has no equal. It's lonely, melancholic, dreamy and eerie.

Remember how intense the first one was. Great soundtracks
That super castlevania IV is one of the best...Greetings from the Dominican Republic...👍😎
5:29 That music is still hype.
Nah you only showed 1/3 of the fight with Dracula in Castlevania 3. You don't get a pass for that.
This guy must be a time traveler

The only one that matters is Super Castlevania IV
Hey bud, you forgot Rondo of Blood and Akomajou Dracula for the X8600. They are both 16 bit and Rondo is probably a really well known CV classic
Thanks! I will probably get into that at some point. I thought it was a remake of the Genesis one, so I skipped it.
Axetastic!
u forgot portrait of ruin, symphony of the night and dawn of sorrow

Is there a reason you only showed Dracula's Final form for Castlevania 3?

Where’s Rondo of Blood?
The best dracula boss fight is now dead cell
All? The battles from Rondo of Blood and X68000's Castlevania are missing entirely. Misleading video title.

No Rondo of Blood?
Due to popular request, I'm going to add Rondo. I originally thought it was a port of Dracula X but it has a different final boss, so I must do it!
@@classicgamingboss7790 Not only does it have a different final boss, but it is also a COMPLETELY different game
What about rondo of blood
Dracula X was the SNES port of Rondo.
@@classicgamingboss7790 isn’t it more like a reimagining. The dracula fight is different.
@@classicgamingboss7790 it's not, it's an adaptation that has a different story and lacks many elements from the original.
