Hey, I am a creator as well. I was wondered how you give your videos to your clients. The reason being is because I know that email will degrade the footage. So I am wondering if you could maybe make a video on it. Or just reply to this. I know airdrop is probably the best option. But what if they do not have that.

How do you shoot slow motion (especially 120fps) in a 4k resolution? With the a7 iii or with the 1dx wich you could see in the "B" Video? Or do you shoot in 1080p with 120fps and then scale it up to fit in that 4k? Greetings

The most amazing thing about "video b" is that I barely even noticed Daniel was filming. He showed up with his camera in his hand, he was just hanging out and the odd time he turned his camera on for a few seconds. I wasn't even sure if he shot enough to make an edit, then he shows me this vid. Pretty amazing, thanks again Dan!

So absolutely all of this is gold. Every word spoken and it’s under 10 mins which is very efficient given the amount of usable takeaway here.
Your two examples were perfect illustrations for your points as well. Love that you talked focal length deeper than just surface. They were motivated and and you switched it up to stay dynamic.
The sound panels look good, the banana extra glowy. Really great work here Daniel.
Ps: I rolled this mobile, couldn’t wait until I got home.

    • @Leprutz

I think he did it with a mask and keyframeing it frame by frame. almost.
Like to layers of video. One witht the original footage and one witht
the sky day and night, (composed of two layers I'd say, one for day, one
for night) and the first layer a mask cuttinga out all the egdes of the
background plus the hockey player who is moving like a badass. I don't
see how Daniel could've done it if not keyframing every single frame for
      that mask.
Cause if you play in slowmo you notice some of the stars going through the
hockey player. But I am not sure though.

Daniel, as a new filmmaker being contacted by brands to make videos for them, I have trouble deciding what I would charge. Can I ask what your rates are? (estimates of course) Let’s use the 2 videos you displayed in this video, what would you roughly charge for work like that?

Decide what your worth is by the day and multiply it accordingly. Be realistic and if at any point you feel uncomfortable like you might be over-pricing take off a few dollars and frame it as a "discount" to the client and as you develop your confidence it will get easier to do. That's how I've done it over my 10+ year tenure in video. I hope this helped

The one thing I think is really missing is the action. The slow mo is fine in spots but as a life long hokey player it feels a bit slow. Maybe think about bringing in some of the real sounds like slap shots and blade stops on the synthetic ice. Definitely has some ice catching effects but it just feels like the slow mo plus the music leaves it feeling slow. Just my 2 cents. Thanks for doing these.

You know what really stands out for me in your videos is the rhythm in your voice. Its different and really gets the points across and helps learning easier. That is a very hard skill to learn and perfect. You are killing it in that way.
Can I please ask for you to maybe film your self in a set while you're making a video ad as a tutorial. I have recently been making product ads and really want more content like yours.
