A small trick for Mcdonalds, they don't start making the order until you mark 'Arrived at store'. If you mark arrived at store before you get there, they will make it right then and it will be ready when you get there or it will be significantly less wait time.

I can relate.. I started to do this as a distraction from the end of a relationship.. Starting to think I may have a problem because between driving DD and UE and my regular job, I'm working from 5am to 10pm Monday through Friday.. Also, I drive on the weekends until I make at least $500.. I guess it keeps my mind busy

I tried dashing on Saturday night. Orders were coming in at $10 or more. However, I have to admin being a little creeped out in places as a female driver. A bit unfair since it is getting dark as early as 7:30 or 8 now. Poorly lit addresses and walks is another challenge. Definitely has its pros and cons.

I agree Robo! Delivering after dark can be super frustrating at times. It's one of my peeves about delivering at night... people not having the decency to leave their porch lights on when they are expecting food. I always turn on my flashlight on my phone but it's not great. I think I'm going to invest in a mini flashlight for my key chain or something. Also yeah, apartments are bad enough during the day.. but at night? it's like 500 times worse lol.
I hate that it gets dark early. My last order last night they had a sign on the door that said “something about we hide the bodies” I dropped that order so fast and got outta there 🤦🏽♀️
Take my advice, don't dash at night unless you have some kind of protection. Every dasher that has been killed has been during the night. As a woman you are at a disadvantage of you are attacked by a man, especially at night.
Dashing late nights is a different game to play. It can be rewarding and sketchy at the same time. Less traffic is a plus but those drive thru' s get busy at times.

I did Doordash for about 6 months, but I couldn't justify going out for such little money in my market the orders kept getting more and more ridiculous. Enjoy your videos bro. You and nuggs are killing it.

I agree that being a top dasher in some markets is key. I have been on both sides in my market, and you get more orders. I am currently not a too dasher this month and I haven't met my goal of 200 any day so far this month. I love the videos that's why I subscribed
Late night is great for me, especially Friday night or crappy weather nights . I have 6 fast food spots and 4 pizza spots under a mile from my house plus a few restaurants about 3 miles away in 2 different directions. I will work my regular zone after work until 8ish, go home and eat really quick, then dash from my couch until I get tired. Most of the time we have $3 peak pay 9p-12a so it can be profitable
I love the night shift! I work as a night shift nurse so this is the best time for me.
Love nightshifts , the roads are clear and mostly chill , only thing is the lighting in some areas and some houses dont have their house number so it can get frustrating.
Nights in my area are a toss up I usually dash between 9-11 after I get off work and there's been nights where I make $50 and nights made less then 10 lol but if I don't get a dash after 15 min of waiting I call it a night

I normally dash at 11PM to 4:45 AM, I find it to be the most active times in the suburban areas of Boca Raton Florida.
Most I made in that time span is 180 since I got lucky by high tips.

Ive dashed on a sunday night and made 237$ I have the screenshot proof aswell I live in Arizona where it’s pretty busy especially in the Glendale/Metro area thanks for helping me with tips and tricks for dashing I use Uber Eats mostly

Late night is great if you dash in a high income area with 24 hour chain restaurants and convienence stores. Breakfast is also great.
After 930 or 1030 on weekends you need to make your way closer to whatever fast food is open late. Cuz those are the times the orders for restaurants cut off for people ordering on the app. Plus the scheduled peak pay makes it too competitive after the first hour passes. You gotta know what’s open and basically sit there. At night I like it since there’s like no traffic. You can get anywhere real quick. Or you can cash in accepting orders at closed restaurants and get half pay. Also logging out then logging back in, you can see if there’s any straggler orders you previously declined that you’re willing to pick up.
Great tips I do this as well usually the dine in restaurants are good after 10pm

I’ve been debating on doing a night shift lately..a few Friday’s ago though it died between 9 & 10 but this video is giving me more of a nudge to try it..there are some really hard to see house numbers and apartment numbers around here, even with a light.
That’s because the main restaurants close. Go closer to fast food restaurants. Once peak pay ends it picks up significantly like after midnight
Thanks for sharing your journey. I'm starting my 4th week dashing in a small rural town. We've only had Door Dash and Uber Eats for about 6 months in our area. Only have 3 fast food, 1 pizza place and 2 regular restaurants doing delivery so far, so the trips and pay is limited. Luckily, our Walmart uses Uber Eats for their deliveries and it pays about $16 - $25 per delivery. Hoping community members will start using DD and UE now that it's been here awhile.

Thanks for your videos! I made 144.00$ in 7hrs 39mins in dash time and 4hrs 33mins active dash. I am not a top dasher but I still got some decent orders for today and night. I stopped at 10:30pm
Top Dasher in Canada this month. On weekend I always work till 12:00 am last night I made $217.38 for 7 hrs work So a total of $31.05 per hour before expenses.

Did my first two night runs. First one was ok. Second one? 15 building apartment complex with minimal lighting looking for building "M". Won't do that again.

I seriously had a last order to acme last night. The payout was good. But I had to reassign it. My Internet kept going out. I would literally had to go outside after every item. Just to add to the customer's order. And go outside the store just to get the next item on the customer's order. After 15 minutes of that. I just left. Called support just to reassign that order. Called it night after that. Anybody have a problem like that?? Is it my phone?? Do I need to upgrade my phone. It is old.

Once the peak pay ends at midnight, it will get super busy in about 15-30 mins until 2:30 or 3:30 on weekends. 3:30-5am will likely be dead
I’ve been dashing for 20 days, I’ve only done the day shift once and never again. With the nightshift I make more than double in the same amount of time. Actually just finished a shift and made $63.25 in 2 hours on a Monday night.

The mileage would have to be ridiculous for me not to take the order during the night shift … because there’s no traffic … you get to point A to B faster then during the day.. NIGHT. SHIFTS WHERE ITS AT!..
The night shift is chill until you have to wait at a drive thru for half an hour. I fucking hate that these fast food restaurants lock the doors while they're still open. Only 2 or 3 McDonalds in my area have been considerate enough to install a separate window for deliveries.

I stopped doing late night I live in California and apartments such challenge late at night!!! I typical work 8 in morning until 2:30 and able make 800 a wk.
I always Doordash the late nights, usually $3 peak in my area from 9-12 and there is usually a high demand as well

I love the graveyard shift. Empty roads, peak pay and consistent orders!
$2 per mile b/c of time loss and gas.... I usually do Dinner orders only.... avg around $30 per hr working 2-3hrs
In my area it's pretty pointless to dash past 10pm on weekdays and 11pm on weekends. After that it's nothing but McDonalds and Taco Bell, and you have to wait in the drive thru line for a half hour to get your $5 delivery.

Night shift is almost impossible for me in my market. Google doesn't take me to the exact place, especially in apartment complexes and you can't see the numbers on the buildings. Do you have any tips for that?
I see a lot of peak pays that run in two to four hour slots that are from 1130 pm and go to zero dark thirty. No thanks. Finding house numbers would be a nightmare

I hate delivering to apartments at night. A lot of places near me are poorly marked and building numbers don’t make sense. Even though I have a VERY bright flashlight I do try not to use it because people might think I’m a cop lol. But one big thing is that there are usually peak pay during the night around $3 more
Peak pay sucks. Every time they offer peak pay, the more they offer the less you make. $3.00 peak pay resulted in $9.00 hr. Hour previous to that made $28.00. Too many drivers here.

Hello I have a question and a problem and I’m wondering what you do in this situation on a double run 2 separate pick up places that are close to each other you pick the first order up drive to your second delivery pick up and there is a 20 minute wait is there a way to deliver the first delivery then come back for the other one that way the first delivery doesn’t get cold even tho it’s in a hot bag especially when I have plenty of time to deliver it and get back for the second one I’d rather my customers have hot food I went ahead and delivered the first order but was unable to complete the delivery steps for the first order I was only able to finish after I confirmed pick up of the second delivery it through my times off the store times where definitely off too pick up time in between was 5 minutes 30 minutes later the second order was ready and I had already delivered the first one and had plenty of time to get back for the second one and my times still went down is there a way to deliver the first delivery complete the task then run grab the order that was running late?

Good morning I am a top dasher for a year now and running
It's obviously completely dependent on the city and with some many places closing between 10pm-12am, its not worth it. My 100k city just dramatically drops around 9-10pm during the week and starts dropping down around 11pm on the weekend because of the restaurant early closings.

I had done DD at night and I got say it was pretty good in my opinion.
I do not suggest the night shift on Saturday night when you live near a university. It's endless and I mean endless McDonald's and Wendy's orders with no tip for a $4 payout per 6-10 miles. It's absolutely horrid.
I use Android for the dasher app and I have never been prompted for the gasoline and other choices etc things that you have to press before you start maybe it's just for Apple?

I’ve made ok money part time between 11pm-2am. But past 2am it steadily gets worse.
I made $82 last night in about 2 hours time because $20 of that was a cash tip. I did doordash and Uber Eats from 5:30 to 7:30.
