  • The Prodigy Prime Fitness HLP Selectorized Rack is definitely a pleasant surprise for any gym owner, both residential or commercial. I cover the features highlighted on the Prime Fitness website as well as my likes and dislikes of the rack.

I was upset with the intro. I was like “why is he showing the delivery”. Very thorough review. I just watched a review of a product I purchased. I added in the comments. How the product was delivered. Great job!!!

Love the video! was gonna order the same thing but two things kind of bothered me(maybe I’m too picky) 1. I wish they just put 3x3 1” uprights and crossmembers all around asthetically would have looked nicer and been better for attachments. 2. It really bothers me that prime upcharges for paint. They’re premium they should offer different colours and include that in the price (like Sorinex, rogue, arsenal strength etc) either way I’m pumped to see your gym grow!

Hey quick question for the low row, you get the 2:1 ratio correct? There’s no way for you to get the full 350lb stack?

I saw a review about the prime bench being for shorter people how does this work I’m right at six feet. I would like to purchase one but idk if I would regret it any advice?

  • @ELi2190

Undecided between this and Rogue FT1, leaning slightly more towards the Prime due to the rack functionality and the shorter height as I currently rent and the prime will fit in more areas vs the Rogue whose 9ft tall. Does anyone have experience with the Rogue FT1 - having trouble finding reviews.

This is the best single piece of exercise equipment I've ever seen. Aside from dumbbells and an adjustable bench, I can't think of anything else I'd need. Perfect! Thanks for sharing.

Looks like no place to put on plate weight horns. A big negative for space conscious users which is why you would get a multi use rack. How is the range of motion on the 1:1 upper pulley cables? The extensions look like a must too.

What’s the handle storage system you added in the back of the rack?

If this trainer works half as good as it looks I'm sold. The design is super sexy

Jay, another outstanding video!! I agree with bro-nah, you just multiplied the total amount of content on RUclips about the Prime HLP Selectorized Rack by 10x. The HLP definitely deserves more love from the home gym community (versatility under the 8 ft height limit is the magic number for most, and like you said, if you are not limited by ceilings just get the height extender) Prime needs to pump up their marketing to the level of your commentary. Also, your video quality, top notch! Quick question, did you try the Prodigy Adjustable Pull-Up station with the RO-T8 handles? I don’t see it around your rig, but figured I ask.

Hey brother Jay, love the video. This rack is what i want. I'm a little bitter, i just missed the opportunity to pick one of these up for $2,250 use in great shape. I will be on the look out for another.

I have been waiting over a year for this video. Would very much hope for the same for the functional trainer. One question, are the pulleys low enough to do deadlifts with the bar and collars? Your indepth review on this machine is the best on youtube. Keep it up and Cheers.

Rep's Ares/Athena is probably the "budget" alternative.

Thank you for the very thorough review. If someone was in the market for this rack such as myself, I'd recommend this video without any hesitation. Consider me subbed!

  • @j.villaknows3862

Amazing video! I ordered this rack thanks to your video along with Rogue 3 tier db rack also thanks to your video.
