Hey man I'm in need of a driver door panel I live in West Virginia and can't find anything I saw one on eBay but they wanted $300 for one that crazy when a junkyard has one for $20-50$ there's no good yards around here I've been working on my civic for 10 years I saved it for the crusher and younger boy lost the key to it. And sold it to me for $165 so I took to home and got started on it and All it was was the coil in the distributor and it fired right up sounded amazing
I have clean black Honda Civic ex 00 and for some reason, I’ve been feeling like everyone hates on my car lately. She’s lowered, clean simple rims, very clean inside without any cheap accessories. I’ve loved her since day one I got her in 2000. She only has 161,000 miles and I’m proud of her. Thanks for yr awesome content. On the flip I get asked a lot if she’s for sale. Nope! She’s home for good!
Scott Matthews , oh for sure. I’m very particular with the upkeep. I did recently have a computer problem which was throwing a code with an intake sensor but I purchased a new one or at least a rebuilt one from Honda and she’s been running mint ever since. Comp went out throwing false codes which led to rpm issues. No more problems since👍🏼.
A rear swaybar makes HUGE difference. Even a small stock rear Integra sway keeps the rear planted. It's literally a night a day difference. For an EK, you need SI rear sway bar endlink, Integra D brackets and subframe brackets & a few washers for spacers.
@@chopsticks7751 yeah but when you carry to.much speed into the corner and brake a little to lose some speed you will get oversteer and if you gen back on throtle you go off the track. I speak for civics not other fwd, those ussualy just underspeer
@@mihailpetrovici5044 rear bar does make a difference, helps keep the traction on both tires as opposed to loading the weight on just 1 and reaching traction limit faster, I learned the hard way that a loose rear end in a hard corner isn't all that easy to correct, a sway bar would have been nice that day
Found your channel from the civic. Been out of the game for 15 years or so. I’m older now and can afford to modify my car how i want to. Love how clean everything is aiming for something similar.
I also bought the MPC brace and lower tie bar. I was only able to put the top Allen screws because they didn’t taper the holes for the lowers. You’re pretty much the first person to put a “ek” chassis video up using their product. Looks like I’ll be reaching out to them.
I want to build up my EJ6 sedan like this- stock motor with minor improvements such as the classic I/H/E and some other mild tuning like a stage 1 (relatively) camshaft, perhaps might play around with the ECU and fuel injection, but then go absolute ham on the suspension and beef it up for circuit-like racing

I have a EM1 These are the prices in Canada 6k em1 3k suspension 10k engine 3-5k body work 5k upgrades (tires etc) 5k music (personal pref) 5-10k in other personal preference I did it all and I love it! Now I have a classic car🙌
The original JDM EK9 Civic Type R used 26mm front and 22mm rear sway bars. Not sure what's available in the aftermarket these days (OEM stuff is all discontinued), but you can bet Honda spent a lot of time and money figuring out what was ideal for a performance street application like the Type R EK9. Your best bet is copying whatever they did. BTW: DC2 Integra Type R used 24mm/22mm in 1996 and then was later upped to 25mm/23mm in 1998. Start saving for a B18C(R) swap (or K2 if you wanna spend twice as much).
Your civic build inspired me to get my first car which is a 2000 Honda Civic ex and now it’s slammed with perfect fitment and it’s one of the few civics that is Miami blue🙂
Im soon to replace my 99 Civic Sedan as a daily driver for something that isn't so needing of maintenance. Bought it cheap with existing problems. After I have a new daily I wanna swap the auto transmission out for a manual and see how much fun I can squeeze out the single jingle.
@@ALLDAYANTHONY get the scarebird conversion brackets. with as clean as your civic is, youll be wanting new calipers/brakes/ebrakes cables anyways. I have those on my car and they work great.
Sick build!! Just wanted to let you know bro that Harbor Freight is recalling jack stands that look super similar to yours because apparently they have been failing. I took mine in and they replaced them straight up for free.
