@@maniac1628 - 14' & 15" Si Coupes are so sick! I don't know why they don't get much love though. They got that monster 2.4 shoehorned under the hood and the styling looks killer.
Absolutely beautiful build. I’m 42. So the 1999 Honda civic was a dream car for me when it came out. I was 17 years old. My favorite color and to this day is so beautiful is the electron blue. Oh my god. Just chefs kiss.
I have a 1988 Acura Legend L sedan. If you all ever want to restore that car, I'll gladly give this team the opportunity. You guys did an amazing job on this car!
I had a red Civic EX in this body style and man it was such a great car. I'm so glad to see people still keeping these cars alive today. Always amazed the people know how to do all of this restoration work, what an art form. Beautiful car and well done man!
You are a individual of my own heart (AMAZING) build. It doesn't matter how expensive something is, but having it in timeless condition would obviously increase the value provided if its up for sale. Floorless work, art of (PERFECTION) ❤ IT.
The most detailed restauration I had seen, keep original (best way to make it last almost forever) without issues or extra expensive unnecessary costs. Simply to no bring too much attention and ofc nicely done. Congratz mate. I wish one day look the car personally!
So relaxing and therapeutic. I love it when stuff just works and AHC has gone above and beyond that level, please keep it up fellas! Y’all are a true inspiration to guys like me keeping our community growing.
Exceptional restore/rebuild gentlemen. I have been a Honda driver for thirty years and a fan of these vehicles since the mid 80s and it is so cool to see people who have an appreciation and love for these cars and this exceptional car company. The 90s old school Hondas were on another level as far as craftsmanship, dependability, and look. God Bless you and your staff and the wonderful work you do!!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!!!
Wow! This is one of the most amazing restoration that I have ever watched 😮🔥every little detailed was restored and became better than it was purchased 💪🏽
Wow! Over an hour of EM1 goodness. LOL. I’ve watched every single episode already. But will find time to finish this 1+hr. Have a safe and Happy New Year!
Wow, what an amazing job! This brings back bittersweet memories for me. My first car was a 2000 Si in flamenco black pearl but unfortunately, it was stolen and never recovered. Glad to see these get the attention they deserve!
Jesus guys this was absolutely incredible. What a video......I literally couldn't stop watching from start to finish! Just subscribed and I can't wait to get stuck in to some more of your excellent craftsmanship!
salute to the guys who built! please make it stock, don't put turbo please and don't even race with this, this is one the rarest Honda SI I've ever seen!
this cars are smiling when its first release to the road after its well properly restoration. what a nice if that money can buy anything to build passion. great job workshop.
I was surprised at the end of the last episode when you went with a standard exhaust considering the changes made to the brakes and suspension. i thought a mugen back box or cat back would have been a nice OEM quiet set up but all in all, looks and turned out incredible well done guys
The stock exhaust setup was our goal but I am sure we will be doing some enhancements down the road. Mugen twin-loop would be a great option. We also considering the Spoon Tail Pan Silencer
amazing a 25year old car like new. this is not restoration. you build a NEW car. And the iconic sound cracking to turn on is breath taking. Miss mine. If you ask me i will do it again, since i did like that on mine back in the day. i will say OH YEA.... getting those parts now is hard. i can call a this a honda civic 2024 (1999 model) nice work guys i did enjoy every single second of the video.
I had a black 2000 Si that was my pride and joy. Got caught in a bad storm one day with golf ball sized hail and it severely dented the body all over. Parked it in the garage and didn't touch it again for a few years and then sold it to some kid for $1500. Seeing what they go for now, I wish I would have held onto it.
love this car, had a black one myself, my friend had the red one, and other the blue, i believe only three colors they made in 00, all three em1s and all three boosted looking OEM+ so i love looking at this and you kept everything OEM except brakes and wheels and suspension but i love it! classic lok will never get old. watching this video makes me want to go search for antoher
first time coming to this channel, restoring my most favorite and coveted late 90's Civic SI. I would love to do this project one day, I cant imagine how nice it is to have a refreshed 90's car that drives nearly as good as the day it came off the factory assembly. You have got yourself a new subscriber!
I rarely watch an hour vid here in YT except this one. May I know the cost of this build? Definitely worth every penny. I would not even bargain the price. I would say name your price. Respect to you sirs. No shortcuts, no cutting corners. A proper build.
Nice job! Perfect and original! In Brazil it's a very difficult for me find de original peces for my 98 Honda Civic, i love this car, and see this SI so beautful give me hope in finished my car!❤
What a beautiful masterpiece ❤. If I was rich I will name a price to see if I can own it . I know someone is gonna say if you rich why buy that car if you can get better can than that . Some people don’t understand it’s a piece of auto history and awesome time these cars was about . The performance the feel the drive . Unlike today’s cars they have a bunch of driving aids too much technology and it will get worse with electric cars replacing all cars . Glad I lived my young years in a different era were things was more simpler. Cheers 🍻 and to the people that understand what I’m trying to say . 🍻🍻❤
Even though red is my favorite color, for some reason when I think oldschool SI coupe it is the iconic blue that comes to mind and for that reason is one of my dream cars! I owned a 95 hatchback with a B16 swap and man did I ever have some fun in that little car back in 2000-05 till it cost me my license 😂 I also originally had a turbo-D16Z6 in it prior to the DOHC swap and while the single-jingle was a lot faster it cannot replace that Vtec sound of the B16 nothing can! Well okay a B18C sounds alright too and maybe an H22 Frankenstein but the sound of a well tuned B16A2 is just music to my ears!
Man when i thinking about restoretion is that what i haver in mind, the finest i had seen amazing my dream is bought a Honda and send to you guys, also this japonese Guy he look like me exactly even the glasses Just cuz um from Brazil my skin is not lighter than he had but still look like me

How much does something like this cost and for how long was the build? It's a timeless master piece. I STILL have my '99 Civic EX 5 speed coupe that was my very first car that I got back in 2002 for my senior year in high school ! !
