You're one of my inspiration to do whatever I want with my 98 ek hatch. Even all the haters around me, people I know, always says sell it in the scrap and get a car doesn't require a fix. All I said was, "where's the fun in that?"
There are some cars that we have something for them and we just don't have the courage to sell them. We wanna keep them and do the best we can to make them look better.
I just entered the jdm and honda world this evening and went home with a honda civic ek coupe for 2k. This video is amazing! I am learning new every second! Thank you!
Ive had a white 2000 honda civic coupe for 2 years and loved it dearly. sadly i crashed it 2 days ago. i hadn’t replaced the headlights after being stock and ended up hitting a highway sign pole at 70. watching your videos is really helping me remember the times i worked on it and all of the fun I had in it. so thank you 🙏
You should do this for the red civic. I was watching it and it was taking me down memory lane. Imagine with the red. Years of content. That’d be sweet!!
original owner of a 97DX! replaced engine and trans at 315k with a lower milage. i,m near 500k! thanks for the inspiration! Simple and sweet is the way!
This video and this dude in general motivates me to get myself a Honda which I’m hellbent on doing, gotta keep saving and keep my motivation up I always wanted one since I was in high school cheap reliable and looks amazing.
As a DX owner for about 4 months, this is a great idea starter for getting my humble civic back to a fresh start with a new owner. Keep up the great content!
The opening music and 10 mins summary is brilliant. Will checkout your other videos to see how it all came together in detail. Congrats on a a simple,, less is more build
I have one of these currently gutted on jack stands in my garage. I love the inspiration and motivation you are sharing! One race. 2G buy-in. Winner takes all. Hector, you're gonna hold the cash...
Whoever's reading this, I pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen.
AlldayAnthony videos are the best entertaining and educational for car enthusiasts and who wanna be one. I'm smoking my blunts, watching you and netflix at the same time. Its the easiest way to relax and enjoy the friday the 13th night.
I couldn’t help but to get a little emotional watching this. In a way I feel a special connection to Civics. Growing up I used to ride around with my mom in her Gold Civic EX from 2000. I LOVED that car. Even if it was simple to me it was really cool. While it’s not the same as the one you fixed up the video the interior was practically the same and it brought back such a rush of nostalgia. She’d had the car since before I was born and had to sell it when I was around 11 years old after someone cut her off and forced her to jump a pretty tall curb which ultimately blew the suspension, steering alignment, front axle and driveshaft. It was gonna be too expensive to fix. As a result my parents ended up getting a new 2013 Civic EX or rather an FB2. While it wasn’t the same as my mom’s I liked it and thought it looked cool and felt fast too! Fast forward nearly nine years later and that FB2 Civic became my car. I still remember my dad taking me out to drive it in an empty parking lot during the height of the pandemic and those first few drives made me fall in love with her even more and moreso when I started driving with my permit. I got my license in that car during my road test and I’ve driven her everywhere ever since. She’s been beyond reliable and fun and I have SO MANY memories with her. Honda really knew what they were doing with the Civic and honestly I’m very grateful that they’ve made this amazing car. They really are something special.
Thank you for this video. Just purchased the exact same car and I see the potential it has. So far after market headlights and rims. New alternator and head gaskets. But I’m so lost on what and how to modify my car, this is my first time with any vehicle adding modifications. Now I have an idea of what I wanna go for with my own twist to make it me. But now the question is, do I hire someone to do it or try and do it myself ? I know body work is extremely difficult so I’m not sure. But I’m also on somewhat of a budget.
Fuck yea bro. I used to own one of these back from 2003-2009... 20 dolllars got me through a week and half of driving going anywhere and everywhere! Beautiful to see what you did. Nice touch!
I'm such a big fan of all awesome cars that were ever made in the mid 80s all the way to the early 2000s. best cars that had zero restrictions and hundreds of horse power potential!! best era for me. XD Love this content and civic.
I recently bought a white 99 civic LX for $1000 and it's in immaculate condition on the interior as I literally got it from my grandma lol. The outside is a bit dirty and mechanically it's near flawless. The only issue it has is the valve cover seal needs replaced and that's on the to-do list. It has 130k miles on it too which is fairly low considering it's age. All in all I love it so far despite not being a previous civic guy. After seeing just how much of an improvement your civic looks after some the mods at the relatively low price I'm definitely gonna be shooting for that. It will also be my first real "project car" so there will definitely be a learning curve. My only complaint with the car is the 4 speed auto in it. I don't mind it being auto, I'd prefer a manual but I'm ok with auto but it just needs 1 more gear in it. Just doesn't feel right only being a 4 speed. Can't complain tho and hope to have it looking as good as yours in a year or 2!
I just bought a SUPER CLEAN 00 Civic Ex almost completely rust free. This video inspires me to build her into something special! I love the simple look of your white civic, but like everyone, we all have different personal mods we would do a Lil different.. but truly, after seeing this makes me want to hop to it FAST! HAHA btw fr your Hondas are a couple of the better looking ones I've seen that don't have MAJOR mods! Good job hoss!
Just came across your video and I have the same exact civic. I wasn't sure where to start, but I did get some ideas n add some things on my own, but this was really useful!
I honestly couldn’t watch your channel for a while because I let go of my coupe in 2017. Biggest regret I had. Just seeing other 99/00’s saddened me 😂. Just picked up a green one yesterday and she needs some work. Gonna go through and watch all these videos now. Gonna need some tips
buti pa po kayo, ang dali sa inyo mag gawa ng ganyan. gusto ko din sana nyan pero wala po akong pera sa pagkakataon. gusto ko din sana makapag gawa ng ganyan. ingat po kayo mga sir.
I had a Taffeta White 2k EX with an auto, best car EVER! Till my niece wrapped it around a tree! Love "Most" of what was done, I'm old so I don't care for the lowering. It's great to see a Civic live on!
It’s amazing what you accomplished with this build, considering your budget. The labor you put in made as much of a difference as the money you spent.
Thanks man! It was a bit of yin and yang for balance
Nice!

That’s true, you can tell when a car is clean when the owner puts a lot of hard labor into it!
@@ALLDAYANTHONY yo did you experience any electrical/parts issues after power washing everything in the bay?
Really like the clean look!
Seeing the engine detail and interior again really gives that satisfied feeling
Same here man!

I know that feeling and now we just have to prove them wrong with the dream we have with the vehicle we got.
It’s all about weighing out the options. If it’s got good bones, work on it!
@@ALLDAYANTHONY i keep watchin your series its so satisfying hopefully you do another but a ek hatch k20 swap
