2007 Ford Mustang GT 4.6 no start 2005 2010 replacing starter

Replacing starter assembly on a 2007 Ford Mustang 4.6L V8. Replacing this starter should be the same between 2005-2010 V8 models and more. Hope you enjoy the video, thanks for watching.

Thanks man! I could not, for the life of me, get to the 10mm bolt at the top of the starter. I followed your advice about using the long extension with the swivel head and was able to get to it and break it loose. Thanks again!

Just replaced mine on a 2007 GT. This videos was super helpful and the replacement took me 1 hour. Without the extensions and swivel, it would be impossible to swap. I bought a set of extensions and swivels from Harbor Freight for $30. Well worth the money. Thanks!!!

So on fuses you check if the little metal inside isn't burnt out, but how do you check the relay?

I replaced mine and still facing the same issues. Grinding, clicking, and slow starts. Any advice on what to check or double check?

Hey my mustang want cut off is it possible the solenoid on the starter could be causing this? If it's not that it's gotta be in the wiring harness,done put ignition switch tumbler rod is good tested all fuel pump relays and it will start and will not cut the car radio and fan for super charger off , but will turn the fan for heat,a/c off that's all .🙆

I have a 1996 Mustang GT 4.6 L engine. It usually starts right up cold without any issues however sometimes after driving it and parking for about an hour or so it will crank but not start. I’ve learned to let it rest for 15 minutes after a failed start and it will start right up. What could be causing this?

Oh so its directly under the header.. that would explain why my starter is giving me issues from my exhaust leak

@@ls1camaro92 fixed my exhaust leak yesterday when i had the old starter out, it was so much easier to wrap around the leak without it there and now that i fixed it i can feel the car is a lot more touchy with the gas pedal
