The tea is seriously the best rooibos I've ever had. I can tell as soon as I open the bag just based on the smell. It's like the difference between old store bought stale herbs and homegrown fresh ones ha.

I've been doing English Paper Piecing with my daughter. We homeschool and read the book "The Rag Coat" recently, which inspired us to learn more about it!
I’ve never heard of English paper piecing but looks fun I’m going to check it out. I have been enjoying Sashiko it’s Japanese. You make stitches usually they are preprinted patterns but if you’re more experienced you can trace patterns on your fabric. Anyway I’m a beginner so I am still learning but it is a very relaxing and calming hobby. I also think your journals look beautiful I just love the covers. I was just thinking I needed to make a face cleaner product for washing off any makeup I may have worn. I have the ingredients you’ve used including the Rooibos tea 😉. I have to admit I’ve never heard of paper quilting before. I am familiar with the hexagon pattern for sure. I’ve done some small, super easy quilting projects in my younger years but this sounds interesting too. I’m someone who can’t do anything in a car like read, text, write and certainly not quilt lol. I get carsick so easily so for long trips in the car with my hubby I look straight ahead and will nap when I start feeling queazy. It’s been a problem my whole life, even as a kid. Since you spoke of rooibos tea soo much, I got myself some from SA! My cousin lives there fortunately 🙏🏼 that's the only way I can get it down to my country. I hadn't heard of such a tea until you mentioned it. It tastes so subtle. I'm glad it has the taste very much similar to regular plain tea, but this has a sweet floral flavour and it's very mild.

In NJ we have a no water the grass/wash cars at home rules and so I had to water the hard, dry soil just so the garlic cloves won't die. We'll see. Also I went to Trump rally in Jan2020 in NJ where I live & when he went back to same place the people were 100,000! Then I went again to a "TownHall" in PA with thousands of people and stayed the whole day from morning to night and couldn't believe the lies the media said about that particular day. We have a reason to celebrate and be happy as we were sad the last 4yrs. I am proudly wearing my patriotic shirts and always wore my USA flag because we ARE proud to be an American. 🇺🇲🙏🏻 P.S. A great shower gift I give is making my crochet washcloths, and homemade tallow soap from someone that makes it. Also a couple books (#Justtheinserts new book, and #NourishingTraditionsBook and/or the #NourishingTraditionschildrenscookbook by Suzanne Gross.
