- NEWS: Aston Martin to return to Le Mans to fight for overall victory with Valkyrie AMR Pro.
Heart of Racing to lead Aston Martin’s hypercar challenge in @fiawec_official and @imsa_racing. From 2025 Aston Martin will be the only manufacturer competing at all levels of sportscar and GT racing, and the @f1 championship, with confirmation of all-new GT3 and GT4 cars which will conform to the 2024 LMGT3 regulations.

@@pppphillip As exciting as this is, how do people expect Aston to topple the teams with hybrids and 4wheel drive? Even with BOP, the hybrids can be mapped to outgun the cars without it. Then theres the 4wd system. Did y'all see where Vanwall ended up, pace-wise in the rain against the cars with 4wd? Hek forget Vanwall...when the rain came, where was caddy and porsche at fuji?
Unfortunately they will definitely use a different engine, smaller and hybrid probably

@symyanbeckford9516 I hope when that happens, McLaren would be releasing their next generation hypercar at the same time, just like Toyota was trying to do with their GR Superpsport
@@falcongamer58 The homologation rules were mostly abandoned so that's not really required anymore and will almost certainly never happen.

Toyota tried doing that with the GR010 in parallel with the GR Supersport road car prototype, but for some reason they canceled the project, but I hope McLaren does something like that

Starting from the fact that it would be a car derived from an existing "road" model, shouldn't we consider it a gte-am more than a hypercar?
I assume they'll use some version of the Valkyrie AMR Prodrive. The one where the guy from Carwow nearly pooped himself.
