  • Several law enforcement officers and emergency response workers testified in the third day of the Pike County murder trial of George Wagner IV. George Wagner IV - along with his mother Angela, father George "Billy" Wagner and brother Edward "Jake" Wagner - is accused of shooting and killing the Rhoden family members "execution-style." The family's bodies were found on April 22, 2016. He faces eight charges of aggravated murder, along with other charges associated with tampering with evidence, conspiracy and forgery.

Nobody in their mind could imagine such horror. These family members are so very brave. My heart ❤ goes out to them.
I remember working in accident and emergency as a nurse.
Two sisters 18 and 21 were killed. I absolutely froze to the spot waiting for them to arrive to the unit. It was the parents that I had to deal with. I will never ever forget that incident. That was 18 years ago. Still to this day I visit the girls graves. There buried side by side.

Charles Manson crimes turn my stomach but for this Piketon massacre I have no words. Thinking ahead and more specifically to Jake Wagner's forthcoming testimony how easily and suavely a definite psychopathic persona as he entertains can lie and about his brother's true reasons for accompanying him and his father on that fateful night. My question is what was the alternative for George? Did George truly not want to be involved? Was he involved in fear of his own life? I ask this as it appears that Jake was and is an unpredictable ruthless character like his mother, Angela. Will George take the stand to plead his disposition? Well whatever that may be, he remains an accessory to these murders and the former can only be argued in mitigation of sentence. It is also amazing how being incarcerated and removed from the influences suddenly invokes clarity of how wrong he was, or not? Does George also entertain a similar psychopathy as most obviously his mother, father and brother do? What would define him as being a remorseful person with a conscience? This matter is so interesting to the entire world, in my experience hereof I have never come across anything similar before. I hope that the forthcoming witnesses realise how important it is for us and USA Judiciary and Legislature to see and hear the testimony for reasons of enhancing law and setting precedents globally.

I may have some sympathy for George or maybe not. I even hope Jake can find some redemption. Cause it seems as though -those boys were born into a overly controlling demanding family. That said= I'm not sure the defense played the right cards by saying George wasn't at the crime scene. Collaborating evidence of Jake & Angela seem to indicate he was and almost wiling a participant. That said again- perhaps the defense should own up to the fact that George was there// But as a unwitting brainwashed individual- of said...umm..ha... controlling family. That may engendered some sympathy from the jury's decision. Otherwise, if they figure he's lying that won't bode well. Anyway its all way to ugly....

With the exception of gruesome pics of the victims at the scene, autopsy pics or pics of the decedent's. Other evidence will continue to come in. Phone records, crime scene pics of the residence, guns, correspondence between the perps, shoe impressions, etc...
Personally the descriptions via testimony is enough. It resonates inside my minds eye. No crime scene photo would change my perception or understanding. I feel it is unnecessary.

Everything I've learned so far about Jake and Hannah...both of them never had any issues with child abuse..Jake did say that Hannah was hanging around shady characters...But I'm sure she could say the same about him...look at his family and what they help do...Murder...Yes the custody thing had a little part in the Murders..let's say it fueled the fire that was really going on between both families...think about it....8 people

The mentality of the murderers was such that they knew justice would come through the surviving members of Hannah's family. I do wonder if the sequence of the murders was established. Were the parents murdered first?

Drug territory. Drugs, money and eliminating the competition... The custody issue was just icing on the cake

Mercedes...there are COuntless cases where there is custody or divorce and the person murders the EXs family. People that are cruel and heartless don't need a reasons.

Who are you listening to the snake mother Angela who claimed that they got along about Sophia ? They wanted Hannah to sign over her rights 5 months prior and Hannah stated they'd have to kill her first. They act like they are so good to wait until she had the baby then spare the children . The creature mother Angela was obsessed about Sophia not being around the Rhoden family since Sophia had been born .

Nice try…what In your opinion is the “proper” amount of experience to respond to this kind of violence of a police officer? Will you interview a officer responding to a call to save your life if needed? I think not.
