- Kendra Rhoden describes the day Hanna May, her best friend and cousin, and Kenneth Rhoden, her father, were murdered. Kendra and Hanna May were also lifelong best friends. George Wagner IV is on trial for the murder of Hanna May, Kenneth, and six other members of the Rhoden family. George - along with his mother Angela, father George "Billy" Wagner and brother Edward "Jake" Wagner - is accused of shooting and killing the Rhoden family members "execution-style." The family's bodies were found on April 22, 2016. He faces eight charges of aggravated murder, along with other charges associated with tampering with evidence, conspiracy and forgery.
Kendra your dad and cousin/best friend are so proud of you for this testimony. I hope you are able to feel some peace over that fact. I am so sorry for your loss🙏
Agree and I’m so proud she went on through the grief to get her nursing license. That’s a HUGE accomplishment especially through trauma ❤❤
I can't imagine how she must feel, how sad and angry, yet she's so composed. She's a great credit to her family.
Can't imagine the fear after so many close family members are murdered and LE had no suspects initially. Terrifying and heartbreaking. Going to the funerals is just unreal. They went to great lengths to not get caught.

She did leave. She left with the baby. That's why they did this to get custody of the baby. Leaving is not a cure all. More people are killed after leaving domestic violence relationships than while they are in the relationship. It's so sad.

She's an excellent witness! My heart just breaks for this family. I know the pain of having a family member murdered. As bad as that was I can't imagine losing 8.
I hope George gets a lot of time for these families through this additional trauma.

This poor family. They're just regular working people that have been dealt a trauma x 8. These murderers are just abusive, vicious, unfeeling globs of DNA.

It's so unbelievable that a family of 4 adults did this, could do this, and not a damn one of them had the sense to stop it, to prevent it from ever happening!! I'm wondering if the Wagners weren't on something, something stronger than weed? Like meth or pills? I know that Ohio was hit hard with pill and heroin addiction at one time. And this one on trial has son named Bovine? Ummm...doesn't that name mean or have to do with cows? I've been waiting for these trials ever since the arrests. It should not take this damn long, 5 years? The defense drags it out as long as they can so people will start to forget and take interest in other news. This family will never forget, and I wish the death penalty was still on the table because they all deserve it!

I lost my Best friend and it still tears me apart 6 years later. I cant imagine how it would have been had she been murdered! My heart hurts for their family and friends left behind 💔

It’s pretty shocking that he is pleading not guilty and going to trial in a death penalty case when other parties in this case have pled guilty and will testify against him. Sounds foolish to me.
Same. I’m assuming it’s because they have nothing better to do, aren’t having to use their own money for attorneys (or anything for that matter) and clearly they have no mind taking advantage of peoples time or feelings. Defendants (such as with this case) make me sick, forcing their victims loved ones to relive this crap…knowing they are guilty of the charges!
Plus his ex gets to testify about how George got custody of theirs.
Yeah it seems like it, unless the mom and brother plan to testify that he wasn't involved in the planning or didn't do any of the actual shooting.
I believe the mother, and mainly the brother, agreed to plead guilty and had to tell the absolute truth to the D.A. The state then agreed to take the death penalty off the table for all of them!. The most this guy can get is life. His brother said George didn't shoot anyone so I'm thinking Georgie boy thinks he might get a lenient sentence! Never gonna happen, he'll get life for sure! He damn well could have refused to be a part of their evilness and tried to stop them and/or report them.

I lost my best friend to murder twenty five years ago, and I still miss her! I think of her wonderful daughters and her grandchildren that she never got to meet and it breaks my heart. I feel that this family will heal and move on. You never forget the love and memories of those who are no longer here/ I really hope that someday we all get to meet our lost loved ones again, what a reunion that would be!!!! I know. She broke my heart. I can see myself reacting the same way. Just trying to break through the police to get to my loved ones. Not believing what I’m being told. That THAT many family members are taken so brutally, especially after just seeing her the day before. Unbelievably heartless & brutal massacre.

Sure, but you can see how this lawyer for the prosecution just isn’t asking the questions in the correct way, you’dthink she could do it if she’s been a lawyer for any number of years. Most good attorneys have a pattern of the way that they ask questions and that’s how you have to do it.
Besides, the defenses objections are the only defense that they have. Beyond that, they are just incredibly guilty.
Seems like the defense attorney is running the show here. He doesn’t even wait for the judge to make a ruling before he starts talking again when the prosecutor objects. Wth?

Aww I think of Geneva often..she did an interview that broke my heart a few years ago. I hope she knows there are people that don’t even know her that send love and support. She is the person the Wagner’s hurt the most. This whole case has been so painful. Hugs from Indiana.

I absolutely cannot imagine what this family endured - how much fear they likely felt after having their family members targeted & killed and the authorities having so little to go on initially.....it is hard to fathom. She held herself together so well although you can hear the shakiness in her voice initially. It legit rips my heart out for her. But she did so well for her family. I pray for their peace and comfort bc this trial must be heartwrenching. So many victims and lives turned upside down. It is just insane.

I would go nuts answering all these repetitive questions and how they are so drawn out by the prosecutor and hearing her write down every word..

My favorite witness so far, she is smart and articulate and picked up on the law term and incorporate them into a responses.
I’ve been binge watching videos of this case testimony for a few days now and have seen multiple people in the comments say how unprofessional the prosecution was. That she freaks out over objections but I would be doing the same lol. They object to the dumbest things. I guess that’s one of the many reasons I’m not a lawyer. I wouldn’t have the patience for the nonsense lol

Unbelievable. Just learned if not for her last minute babysitting she & her boyfriend (at the time) had planned to return to Hannah’s home to spend the night. Many prayers and strength for You, your beloved Grandma & your entire family🙏
She is a very sweet young lady whom has a great spirit in which indicates why she will be a loving caring nurse to all her patients!! God continue to bless and protect her from evil lerking!!!!

I am happy she finished her Nursing degree!!!! She had a wonderful father who wanted the best life for his daughter - to pay for her to finish nursing school. This is SO SAD! So in other words, this was not really the father's child everyone thought - is that true?
Sophia, the eldest child,belonged to Jake. The other daughter, Kylie, belonged to another man that Hannah was no longer seeing. At the time of her death Hannah was seeing someone else who intended to help Hannah raise her children.

She’s not the best attorney, that’s why they keep objecting because she doesn’t ask the questions correctly. After a year or two of lawyering, you’d think she would have her questioning down to a system like the majority of good attorneys
I feel so bad for Hanna. Jake reminds me of my first boyfriend back in the 80s. My mom moved us 50 minutes away. I can't say what she wanted to do. 😁😬
Right? And honestly, she was groomed by the Wagner family. She was entirely too young to date Jake. That’s probably why Hannah had a few boyfriends afterwards, she was probably scared to death and felt like she wanted a little more protection. Also, she was used to being with men, because it started for her at too young of an age.

The judge is biased towards the defendants lawyer. Objects to every prosecution lawyer question. Same questions by defendants attorney he sustains. Unreal

It’s to protect the case from being over turned. There’s so much evidence against this family that it’s really not a concern for the prosecutors. Also, the prosecutor needs to learn how to ask the questions in the right form. It’s not necessarily about what she’s asking, it is how she asks. Most good attorneys have a formulaic way of questioning a witness, and those attorneys are the most successful.

Not ill prepared at all. Defense keeps popping up and objecting to almost every question and that is off-putting when you have notes as she does and they all do, trying to keep to them when some questions get dismissed, it's all about finding your place again. Try it!

The 4 Wagner's destroyed so many peoples lives! It makes me so angry that they got plea bargains for killing 8 people and destroying the lives of everyone who loved them.
Angela Wagner should have gotten the death penalty for instigating the whole sick crime!! Now those little girls of Hannah 's do not have a mother and Kiley will never know her mom. Sophia lost her mom and her dad because of his vegenance and doing what his mother told him to do! I do not believe the Wagner's are remorseful for any of their actions, just that they got caught. I guess they thought when they moved to Alaska they were home free! Thank God for revealing the truth!

Difficult to rephrase all of her questions to be spoke in a modified way as to appease the judge and defense, yet still get her prosicutorial point across. I believe that was to further humanize Hannah and show the relationship between these two girls as cousins. This whole xrkme is so horrific it's possible jurors are comparmentalizing thechorror.

since George testified that he was close with Hannah, why didn't the prosecution ask more questions about Hannah's relationship with George. George is the one on trial,. Jake already confessed.

Watching these court cases always makes me feel they are so slow at asking questions this may be strategic or they have to look up their next question but I'd be tempted to ask the judge if I could go home for a couple of days while you make a list of questions, still watching!
