Well if Jake knew anything about the law, he would have not mentioned George's name. And no one should believe George didn't know anything about this plan, that started six months prior

Thank God the jury had just a shred of common sense and was able to see what was clear. There was no way that Jake and Angela planned this, down to every last intricate detail, for months, using George's credit card, assembling silencers, etc, all while living in the same small house, the same house in which Beth could hear family conversations from the next room, without George hearing or knowing about any of it. If you don't believe that was possible, then, his entire defense is destroyed. His lawyers knew he was guilty. They were just doing a job. He had no defense. There was no way to prove that he wasn't involved or that he knew nothing of any planning. They could, however, prove that he and his family did everything together. If you watched every minute of this trial, it seemed obvious that George was there, and, quite possibly was even more involved than what Jake admitted to. His lawyers knew he was guilty.

Totally agree he was guilty. I still think there was a case for reasonable doubt. Jake and Angela could be easily discredited and not be considered as reliable witnesses but I think their testimony and version of events was most likely truthful

There were 9 women on the jury. I can’t help but think that they were moved by the young mothers who were murdered while breast feeding their infants and left in the beds with their deceased parents. That would be hard for me to get past.

I know you'll are praising the prosecution but they almost lost this case, They were given a blank check from day one , things they should done like see the Wagners as very probable suspects just based on they're a criminal enterprise and the persons that committed these murders will have a stronger than average obsession with firearms most people don't have silencers if they would have just got a search warrant early on for their bank statements they could have seen the calls they were getting about the Wagners needed investigated much sooner!

Not one time in this case did they prove he was there. What Jake or his mother testified means nothing when they took a plea.. Prosecution can have them say whatever they want when it comes to a plea. No one knows because non of us were there.. Again she’s the worst prosecutor I’ve ever watched.
