Great comparison @ Time+Tide Watches. Just one small correction there: Tudor BB 58 comes with COSC certified enhanced with +4/-2 secs per day accuracy, whilst Rolex's superlative precision is +2/-2 secs per day. Rolex only has 2 secs per day advantage.
Thanks for sharing your experience on how you experience the bronze material over time. I can imagine that this is a big factor many are unsure about when considering bronze watches.
Excellent comparison. While I loved the five digit Subs, I have not been a fan of the maxi case. I have a BB58 on order as it looks more the way I think a Sub should look than the Rolex.
Shield to protect the crown, damn.. Hans Wilsdorf is a true branding and marketing genius! My pick would still be the Submariner just because it has the feature that I needed, date and on the fly micro adjust.
This version BB58 has micro adjust on the fly too as he showed which is fine for day yo day use. Hoping they release an after purchase S/S version of this clasp too.
I nearly swapped my Tudor Black Bay 79220B (Smiley) for a Rolex Submariner plus $ a few years ago and now I'm glad I didn't. Tudor fills the gap for a diver for me quite nicely whilst I leave Rolex for the GMT function. I have the discontinued 116710 LN Master 2.
