  • LITHGOW ARMS .17 HMR ON AN EVENING RABBIT SHOOTING SESSION.
I've just fitted the HikMicro Alpex to my .17HMR, zeroed it to half inch high at 100 yards, and now about to try it out for the first time.

      Hello David,
The rifle is certainly nothing fancy, durable synthetic stock, and reliable bolt action, in left hand version 👍

I like my rifles but the Lithgow is always in my 'dreams' :)
That's a nice shooting session, good ( enjoyable ) to watch too, Thanks David

      Hi Reg,
Thanks for watching chap, the Lithgow is perfect for stuff like that, lightweight and durable, and no fancy woodwork to worry about bashing or scratching 👍

Excellent shooting David, the 17hmr never ceases to amaze me, it's such a versatile round, those 2 foxes on Monday were at 100m 🤓

      Hello matey,
Well done on those two, and they both looked a bit wet🥴
I’ll be glad to see the weather dry up a bit, so I can get to my two regular fox positions🤞🏼
      Have a great weekend😎

Hello Colin , thank you for tuning in. You’re so right, it’s a perfect tool for long range rabbits, and even though it goes off with a huge crack, they don’t hear it where they are👍

Impressive shooting, David. And well done on the video as well. Thanks. Jim

Thanks Jim for your support, I’m just having a few problems with RUclips at the moment, and hopefully they will return my call and resolve the problems they seem to have adopted with hunting videos 🤞🏼🙏

@@predatorprotectionuk I'm sorry to hear that. I have noticed that they seem to be cracking down on a lot of hunting videos and have adopted an attitude of intolerance. Maybe you need to include a few videos of playful kittens; I hear they are all the rage. But I do not advise shooting the kittens. Jim

@@jimharriss2727 cheers for that advice matey.
During the war , butchers were allowed to sell rabbits in the shop , but they had to have the heads left on, as apparently a skinned cat, looks exactly like a skinned rabbit🫵🫢😁

@@predatorprotectionuk l like Hornady copper coated HP at 1130fps chap. Took them to Cambridge GC last month and was getting 3 inch groups at a hundred in a cross wind. Like CCI too but my rig likes Norma and Hornady best. TBH CZ will eat owt, but accuracy is not as good with others.

I was surprised the parachute canopies showed up like they did! Considering the distance they were away from me.
      See you tomorrow Superstar🫵👍
