It's time to get more power out of your Dodge Charger SRT. The 6.4-liter V8 engine makes 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque for the 392 cubic engine. VR Tuned's new ECU tuning solution can help bring out further performance your car craves for. Gain up to 25 horsepower and 40+FT/LBs of torque with our ECU Flash. What is important is how the vehicles drives on the street and the power throughout the entire RPM range. Along with improved performance numbers comes better throttle response, faster 0-60mph time, and a stronger top end pull on the highway. The automatic 8 speed transmission has the shifting cleaned up while the rev limiter on can be raised to give you faster quarter mile times. This is the optimal tune for 93 octane vehicles. 91 octane cars can expect similar performance but with slightly reduced figures. All ECU tuning is done using the HP Tuners MPVI2 OBDII system. With a ton of extra features, this is the best way to tune your Dodge Charger SRT!

.. You bought a $45k car and didn't get insurance?
🥂
You didn’t get any typa insurance man?
Insurance doesn’t buy u a new car only pays it off
People fail to realize hellcats need the supercharger to be fast, the scats run off of air to be fast which is naturally aspirated
and people don't realize that a tuned supercharger makes much more gain percentage compared to a tuned N/A engine
It's pretty much the same engine. The 6.2L is just beefed up to handle the extra power.
@@jizzyjake6783 😐hellcat is a 6.2 and scats are 6.4
@@johndelrio975 yeah pretty much the same engine but the hellcat has beefed up internals which results in it having a little less capacity.
And yes a 392 needs boost or spray to be fast. Period. Unless you gut it with slicks and skinnies. Turbo400 or glide and big gear change. Otherwise you will never be fast in the 1/4 and you will get SMASHED in 60-130. Just the facts
345 rwhp ???? WTF Maybe from a 5.7 Hemi but a 392 is much higher. Got a friend with a 392 challenger. He dynoed 425 rwhp. Yep 425 rwhp on a dyno jet. Seen many 392s dyno in that range. I don’t know what’s wrong with the one in the video unless it’s RT 5.7 !!!
I don’t have the energy to go into the difference of the mustang dyno, 91 octane, and the delta….
Yeah that motor must be thrashed or something bc that’s garbage numbers..it is 7 years old
I'm sorry but something is wrong that car ... if that's how much hp it's making then a 5.7 would be in the 250hp range with yall...just saing
Looks like the e brake still slightly on😂😂😂😂
Don't different dynos provide different numbers though? I recall when I was getting my old Mustang done on a mustang dyno my baseline numbers were much lower than my baseline numbers when I later had it re-tumed on a dynojet. I could easily be completely wrong, but the simplified explanation I got was that the numbers were arbitrary I'm a way, and that the change from baseline to final numbers were what mattered. 🤷♂️
This my favorite dang car of all time beautiful work
We appreciate it! Thanks for watching!
@@vivid_racing thank u guys keep up the great work hope to see it one day in person
Love the SRT 392. Way too many rt scatpack owners claiming their car to be a SRT 392. These things are hard to find now.
That they are, thanks for watching!
Lol what’s the difference? People only buy the car for the motor which is the same in both cars .
Scatpacks are SRT! Why you think they dont have the srt no more. Just scats and cats
scats are still called srt they olny took away the emblem and on all my reciepts from service it says srt and i have a 2020
@@reggiepierson8114 Just let them think they're special because they have an SRT lol
Im sure rhe break light shouldn't be on unless the e brake is slightly slowing it up..i thought it was 485 to 475 ratios with hp and tq just saying
Old dyno + Arizona heat hurt our numbers unfortunately
You are confusing crank HP with WHP
That paint job is lit
Agreed
Wait but I thought 392’s were suppose to make 485 crank and 430 to the wheel why is this one so slow
We ran it on a Mustang Dyno which is infamously named the "heartbreak dyno" as it typically reads on the lower spectrum of results. It's important to look at the delta, the difference between the stock numbers and tune numbers to really gauge effectiveness!
I was thinking the same thing
I love my V6 SRT. 🤣
Have Thitek heads…kooks headers….BNFY cam and tuning on 93 octane by Eric Storms ….
suddenly feeling pretty good about my 469 whp on a mustang dyno!
exactly that's the way to go
Well...that was money well wasted. Should've put it on e85 and spray. From the way the wording was, I was thinking this would beat a stock hellcat. Not even close.
We're sorry you feel that way, we appreciate it you watching!
@@vivid_racing same. who needs a hellcat? deceptive.
@@vivid_racing Yeah your wording is very clickbait.
Before u going tune wheat u put in your car
Bro I see your car all the time that mf something else stay out here in litchfield we gotta run one
Would live to get this done are you located in California?
We are located in AZ!
I love when we talk American about cars, it sounds so much powerful lol.
RAHHHHH🦅
What’s whp did it make?
Love that wrap
It looks amazing! Whoever did it knocked it out of the park 🙌🏼
Don't understand I have an 09 Challenger trakpak putting down 400 to the wheels it has an intake and exhaust coil packs and the 91 Diablo tune I was just going to be too hot even breaking 400 HP
Not all dynos read the same.
How much for a Tune from yall?
Tuning prices may vary depending on vehicle, tune package, etc. Feel free to email tuning@vividracing.com and I'm sure our guys would love to help you out!
Wait did he mean 435 horse instead of 335
That’s what I’m saying. Ain’t no way that SRT looses 140hp from crank to wheel with factory tune.
Mustang dyno breaks hearts. These aren’t real numbers. Add 12%.
Its all relative, all that matters is the delta between stock and tuned as the testing was done in a controlled state on the same dyno with the same variables.
how on the earth it's only making 345 hp on the dyno. 6.4 SRT normally making 400 at the wheels like how mine does. so I don't think so this a 6.4 its 5.7
Old dyno + Arizona heat. We mainly use our dyno for deltas to see the horsepower gain
The E break was on on that pull showing the dash 🤔🙄
It is not active or on, the lights displayed on the dash are due to the TCS as the front wheels are not showing wheel speed while the rear wheels are. Its a TCS / stability fault
Who needs a Hellcat? well I do and thats why I have one. If I wanted a mild mannered loud daily that's a lot of fun then a SP Challenger would be great.
That sounds good till a tesla or a Honda civic fly pass you and you're looking like damn I thought I had the fastest car on the road.🤣
Still has the bananas on .
What does this mean? New to the modification game for 392's

How much will that tune cost me on my 18 charger scatty
Email tuning@vividracing.com please
Does this void factory warranty?
Depends on the dealer.
I have a 2021 charger 392 so if I flash the ecu, tune it with long tub headers how much HP can I expect?
About 30
@@vivid_racing thank you sir
What’s the price? I’ll bring my 392 to you.
My Scatpack Widebody with just a CAI is 430 to 440 at the wheels
Bring it here so you tear up!
Do I have to forge my internals before adding a supercharger?
Yes, mainly rods and pistons cause the crankshaft is already forged
Thanks bro Appreciate the feedback💪💪
No unless you go over 6 lbs of boost your safe although I know of some running almost twice that I wouldn't take the risk. The weak place is the piston ring lands, for emissions they are way thin and any pinging under boost can cave in the top.
What state are you guys located in?
We're in Gilbert, AZ!
@@vivid_racing how much for a dyno
You mean how much $$ to gain 15whp lmfao
Why the power so low thats like 345 hp
345 hp was the stock baseline we got! After unlocking the ECU and Flashing it we jumped too 360 hp!
How can you add 650 to the wheels ? Any advice ?
A Magnuson supercharger or procharger is our best choice!
Exactly what Vivid said but keep the boost at 7ft pounds or you risk engine failure. If you want max gains you will need to go with forged internals to handle the boost pressure.
@@vivid_racing can’t you do that with stock internals?
@@gelley46 oh ok makes sense
I say a good tune by a professional would be the way to go on a 392 platform (non forged internals) sucks they didn’t just throw in forged rods etc 😭😭😭
We couldn't modify it beyond a simple tune due to it being a customer car! Maybe if the customer wanted more power we can go deeper into the build, but for now, the customer enjoys his VR Tuned 392! Thanks for watching Eric.
@@vivid_racing no I mean like the manufacturer could of just thrown the same internals as a hellcat minus the forced induction... but you know marketing
Ah gotcha, yeah that would've been awesome to see from factory! Wondering if it would sell more?
@@ericlopez807 That's part of why the hellcat motor is 20K more. ;
@@bailey9r that’s simply not true
That looks like Westin champlins car he was building at one time
Nice song choices
We appreciate it!
or he must have said the dyno numbers out wrong there is not way 6.4 is making 345 at the wheels
Our dyno isn't the most accurate because of the Arizona heat. The apex is what we're looking for
The numbers from the screen don't match the numbers you said. Which ones are correct? The screen shows the non tuned at over 380hp and over 420tq but you said much lower numbers. Just trying to clarify.
Link to time on screen:
ruclips.net/video/Z5D4wBEvxJ8/видео.html
We were just referencing delta, the change between stock and our tuned run, hence the low numbers like 20 we mentioned!
So the tune didn't help it break 400 rear wheel hp?
Every dyno is going to read different!
I understand that all dynos aren't the same. You dyno the same car on the same dyno and only gained 15hp to the wheels. Am I correct?
I’m wondering how much does it cost 15 or 20 hp wouldn’t be that noticeable
Who srt 392’is that does he/she have a channel?
A customer's and not that we know of!
So we don't wanna actually say how much hp it made really? On a dyno video wtf
If you buy a 392 or hellcat to be fast at the track your wasting your time. Also with enough money anything can be fast. I raced a s10 at the track he put up 9.85 in 1/4 mile. 392 is just a type hellcat is just a type. 30 racks can turn a 392 into a demon.
What will it gain with e85 ran thru it all the ones seen are usually Bolt On+E85 not stock
500+

Nice bumper guards dude ... wtf
Customer car, not ours.
Why do people hate bumper guards so much? They're literally on the car for a reason.
@@SRT_DRE yea, for SHIPPING reasons. They literally say on the inside of them “to be removed by dealer”. My dealership I saw they had a bin full of them! Because someone buys the car, it’s part of the PDI they do for all new vehicles. Anyone riding around with those banana peels ... is a fuckin idiot.
Besides what do they protect you from exactly? I’ve never hit or knicked anything in my car, my bumper is perfectly fine. Those guards end up scratching your paint over time ... so, really you’re just doing the exact thing you wanted to avoid. All to look ‘cool’ with bumper guards lmao. Almost as gay as camber but not quite, that shit takes the prize.
@@infantry11b97 I just got my scat and thought i would need them but ive cleared everything so far no problem which surprised me maybe cause i came from 15 SXT on 17's that scrapped EVERYWHERE i went.
@@infantry11b97 it’s their car. I swear the things people CHOOSE to get angry about...
That’s a low powered and I bet slow srt. Even on a mustang dyno it shouldn’t be losing 85whp compared to dynojet. I know 392’s average 430whp on dynojet. Mustang dynos should be retired lol. Dynojet get you real whp numbers. Mustang dyno average in weight and all kinds of other stuff. If you want what you actually make at the wheels, Dynojet. And I don’t why the title even has hellcat in lol. This is no where in hellcat territory. Not even FBO e85 cammed 392 will be in the same ballpark as a stock hellcat.
345 whp?? Lmfao my car made 448whp bone stock on a mustang dyno
$? said & done?
We have the tune itself priced at $400. Although, shipping and such will depend on where you are located.
Why 4th gear? 6th is 1:1

345 rwhp!? Out of a hemi 392 scat!?!? That can't be right!
Said the same thing!
Theyre tryna sell a product!
That's not a scat, it's a 392 srt
yeah they did somehthing wrong there, shouldn't be that much loss to the wheels
@@lionboyTx its still basiclly a scat .or it could be a daytona. only two options for the 392
@@TreySoSuave wrong, dodge made the srt 392, TA 392, 392 shaker, 392 Daytona, and the 392 scatpack.
This 392 is a SRT cause it has the SRT suspension, and the SRT badging that the other models don't have which are all RT's and etc.
Dont even shift like a 392
