interesting coincidence! i'm doing this video two years later on the same day it was posted! this helped alot with the fatigue and aches i was experiencing, i felt the energy radiating and flowing so rapidly. Restorative yoga is something I am going to be doing throughout the week now as my adrenals i have stuggled with fatigue for a long time. thank you Aprille!

We probably wouldn't have had time for an hour long session with cooking Thanksgiving stuff, but 30 minutes was doable and so enjoyable. Loved the lateral stretch and the supported savanasa. When you talked about the cracks in our physical and mental health that can occur in daily living I thought about the Japanese practice of kintsugi. When a piece of pottery cracks, they fill it in with powdered gold or silver. The object is then made stronger and more beautiful. That's what I think yoga in general and your practices specifically do for me---help me fill in the cracks to be stronger and better!

That's interesting you would be thinking about kintsugi as I think of that every time I practice and teach Restorative. My teacher once told us that every day the environment, stress, what we take in physically and mentally cause minute cracks throughout our system and Restorative is meant to address that by helping the body naturally heal itself and return to balance. I love that we are thinking the same thought! Restorative is my first yoga love and the practice I find to be the most healing.
