On day 1 I was barely able to take a breath, my body was locked in a state of closed-down shock. It felt nearly impossible to inhabit my body, my domain. Every day I have been able to breathe ever so slightly more. Today is day 77, and I am beginning to feel my heart again. During "I AM" today I felt more light entering my body, as I am starting to be able to play with allowing this feeling of opening up my field. I feel hope as I notice these small moments. The hope gives me strength to keep going. To all others reading this who feel like there is no hope to heal, I feel that way some days too but I would like to say that we are never alone and I am going to keep showing up. This practice is empowering me and anchoring me and I wanted to express this gratitude today.
@@YogaVisionOnline I took this practice to about 90 days. It brought me through the toughest place of shock my body has ever been though. Now, a few months later, I am still showing up every day in a different way. I light a candle and then I show my nervous system that I am here for myself by showing up to write out a free flow of exploring whatever is inside that wants to rise and move, and practice being present for whatever it is that i feel most terrified to feel. I'm being patient. It's powerful and I actually trust in this process now that it's leading me to freedom. Thank you SO much for this video/practice. It was a true anchor and guide for my survival and healing. I'm so grateful for how it helped me in the most acute stages of shock.
Just finished my 40 day practice and I highly recommend it. After reading the protocol, I proceeded to do this practice in conjunction with mental health supports. In the first few days I experienced intense shaking/tembling, nausea, bolating, gasiness, headaches and fatigue. As each day of practice passed the symptoms were less intense and it became easier to return to a state of rest from a heightend state. After day 40 I feel a deeper awarness of my body, thoughts and actions. I can get to a place of rest more quickly than before. My breath is deeper. My posture is more upright. There is also the additional benefit of daily practice - the practice of discipline is confidence building. And my core feels stronger! My deepest thanks to Salima and YogaVision team for this!
Dear Salimah, you cannot fathom how much you've helped me and how grateful I am for you to share all this content freely. I am doing your yoga and meditation sessions daily and they have helped me heal with my severe PTSD symptoms and overall mental, spiritual, emotional and physical health. I have not seen anything that comes close to your content on the internet. With such devotion. Professionality, wisdom and spiritual depth. I am so immensely grateful to you for the work you are doing. Thank you ❤
Thank you for this powerful testimonial. I’m grateful that you are here - creating your journey with grace and self determination. Much love to you and keep on practicing. Maybe we will see you in Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training
Finished my 40 day practice and my life has positively changed in ways I’ve only dreamt of. This method is extremely beneficial. I recommend it to everyone because we have all been through difficult situations some of which we may not even realize have affected us. Thank you for sharing this powerful tool!
I was only able to whisper "I Am" once, before spending the rest of the session bawling my eyes out. I feel a bit cleaner and lighter now, and going on a 40 day journey. Thank you. 🙏💜
Just did this for the first time, didn’t think I was going to stick around for even 10 minutes but I finished! I haven’t felt this feeling ever before, thank you so much. 💞
Thank you so much for this. During the "I Am" mantra and meditation, I began to cry as I repeated "I Am, I Am". So much was released and this is day 1. I am immensely grateful to have discovered your channel and work. I like to imagine that your content found me as well, as I was seeking true kundalini yoga. The universe always knows how to connect us to what we need. We love you. Thank you for this.
Hello Salimah, Thank you so much for this Kiya. I loved your teaching approach as I needed a gentle practice. This practice was more effective than therapy. I just completed 40 day practice as I am healing CPTSD. This practice helped me release trapped anger, grieve about the past & identify my self sabotaging patterns. I'm looking forward to starting tomorrow another 40 day heart healing practice from your channel 💖😊 Thank you so much 🙏😘

Thank you. That's great. As my situation improves and my monetary provisions increase I will trade with you for the info. Unless, that universal wisdom comes flooding in first. Would have it then. But, that's part of why I'm here for that universal connection with the source. What was it the Macho Man said, Ohhhh yeaahhh. Lol. Sat Nam Maestra.
After completing 40 days with the healing anxiety and then 40 days with the healing of depression practice, I started on this one today and really enjoyed it. It uses aspects I do daily anyhow as warm ups before and stretching after my daily (possibly over) exercise ha. Hopefully I will start to feel better soon mentally with being so dedicated to make sure I practice first thing each and every day.
Step by step. Document your journey with it. Sometimes the kriya will call us to do it longer than 40 days. Your inner wisdom will let you know. This one is a beauty. Offers a lot of insight especially when you go in with intention and reverence. ⭐️
Every day this gets more beautiful. I am the creator of my universe. Had a breakthrough that my second grade teacher did a welfare check after my appendicitis, bout of ringworms, and constantly being hungry in class. So well trained to keep sweet that I didn’t even call it abuse until my twenties. 🧘🏻♀️🕯🌙🧿❤️🩹

Hi, I've enjoyed the krya but the last bit, was a bit harsh ... I had bed words mostly coming up in my mind after the words I am...today is my first day
I am doing the kriya for about a moth and many time i finish calm, but then anything makes me very anger and very fruity, with a rage out of control. I found that this feelings are related to the pain. Would you share with me the document of the protocol, i need to know if i am healing. thank you so much . Sat Nam
I'm on day 7 and curiously still not able to chant the beginning mantra in it's entirety. Voice repeatedly breaks and cuts out completely, coming and going in sporadic bursts. Interesting! Looking forward to seeing how this improves and progresses over the next 40 days. 🙂🙏
When I experienced this practice, I noticed at a certain point that my body just felt overwhelmed with exhaustion. Getting to the "I am" meditation, my arms felt weak. I'm not sure if this is because I don't exercise that much anymore, or for another reason that can explain it. I wasn't really expecting the practice to feel this draining. What do you think, Salimah? Is this supposed to happen? Also, I'd really love to see the study you mentioned in this practice. Thank you, and I hope you are well.
Thank you for sharing Bella. It’s true that the kriya will show us the truth. And in your case - is it true that you are exhausted? Can you modify to simply use the mantra and allow your hands to rest in your lap? Every day is different so if today is tired, could tomorrow be different and allow you a little more space to do the movements? Thoughts to consider. Not force and no shame in learning. 💫
I just did day 1. I felt shaking in the lower belly area after the “arms up 60 degrees” portion. I didn’t mind the sensation, felt like maybe there’s some trapped energy in that area that wanted to be released. This shaking has happened to me before with kundalini? What does the shaking mean in your opinion? Thank you ✨❣️
I just discovered your Kundalini yoga for trauma and PTSD number one. I noticed most of this exercise is done sitting up. I have extreme tension and PTSD storage in my solar plexus chest and jaw. This makes it very very hard for me to sit up straight. I'm working on it everyday but it's very hard and it takes away from the exercise. Do you have any suggestions? Or can I do it laying down? Thank you very much

Sat Nam
I feel you in My Heart.. Thank you.. 🙏🙏
Namaste Salimah, you are a Diwali gift on my journey thank you so much from Quebec 💖

Mmmm.... Wonderful. More movement in my hips.. Feeling very calm. Namaste. 🙏

Thank you all! This is infinitely appreciated! Love to you all
I'm on day 7 and curiously still not able to chant the beginning mantra in it's entirety. Voice repeatedly breaks and cuts out completely, coming and going in sporadic bursts. Interesting! Looking forward to seeing how this improves and progresses over the next 40 days. 🙂🙏
Interesting clues. The opening chant is the Adi Mantra - I call to the Teacher within. Where do you need to use your voice and speak your truth.
@@YogaVisionOnline I was thinking it had something to do with that. There's definitely more work to do in that area!
And you are perfectly imperfect and don’t need to fix yourself. Rather look at the signals and what truth can be examined.
@@YogaVisionOnline What you said really struck a chord with me. Had a good cry. Thank you. 💜
You got this.
And by weak I mean that I was struggling to move my arms in the "I am" meditation. I was just really exhausted.
Resistance shows up in different ways too.
Thank you very much
What if you miss a day during the 40 days?
Hi
