When Ed was born the doctor looked at his mother and said, “We’ll get em out.”
And his first word was the weather report
☝🏼🤣
Nice 1...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂🤣😂
He then preceded to grab the pack of ciggys out of the DR’s shirt pocket. And the start of Ed was born.
The fact that they went out of their way to get food for their baby just tells you how great and amazing people they all are
Most would if they knew a child was stranded. It's simple.
I hope Ed realizes he is somewhat of a legend on this channel. I genuinely love to see him every time he is in a video but also would never want him to go along if he wasn't feeling good or something. some of these recovery's are long and cold/uncomfortable. I am just glad to see him whenever he shows up! I really love Ed .
For real. Lol I thought it was his dad when I first started watching the vids.
Says a lot about Matt's trust in Lizzie that he just assumes she's going to handle what she needs to do without extra instruction. You've come a long way girl! Keep it up! I hope you get paid well. That kind of attitude is very hard to find!
Wow, crazy an adult can operate with autonomy.
@@BikingVikingHH I don't know how long you have been a human but there are a lot that can't even process a simple statement, much less perform in the work environment.
She was trained good.
Part of me wants to go out there and get stuck so I can see the Corvair or banana in person😂
Same here haha
You really should. It's a lot of fun, and it's beautiful out there. The colors on here doesn't do it justice.
I’ll meet you out there! Lol
I want to as well. I want to first pick up matts yellow yankum rope
We can start a convoy to go get stuck
Matt said don't be embarrassed. You're driving it like you own it. I'll drive it like I stole it. Lol God bless
In 2010, 33 Chilean miners were trapped till Ed showed up on the 69th day and proclaimed,
“We’ll get’em out.”
While Ed smokes a good one!
Gotta love Ed!
He’s very prophetic.
Love Matt like when those people got stuck again he tried to make them not feel embarrassed and got in and drive for them. Such a great team.
Just don't sit in his seat.
"Don't be embarressed"
Lizzy, stand your ground. Tell Matt to get in back with the dogs.😀
That's will be the tail wagging the Dog.
Lizzy needs her own show
The boss may not always be right but he's always the boss.
😄
@@dbmail545 Just that way he said it is a bit wrong
Moral of the story ... When traveling off road always bring food , water and extra fuel at the minimum .
And carry chains! Probably wouldn't had to make a call.
Don't forget a blanket. I always bring that plus firewood, a tarp, and a change of clothes (socks, boots, jeans at a minimum) the more prepared you go the less likely you'll be S.O.L. in the event of an emergency
And no babies !!!
ALWAYS plan for the unexpected.
@@carllagle1090 ESPECIALLY NO BABIES!!!!!
Trevor so kind and caring. He thinks of others before himself. He was thinking And planning ahead. That’s one incredible employee. There should be more Trevor’s in this world
@@MattsOffRoadRecovery So where is he nowadays?
The production of these videos are getting very good for not being “professionals “ I feel like I’m watching a show on the Outdoors channel keep up the work 💪🏾

I feel like whoever produces these is taking a lot of inspiration from some of the Utah hunting channels we get to enjoy, and I like it!
love that you guys let the dogs run and include them...half the fun i have watching these videos is how well those pups are cared for...can tell alot about a person by how they treat animals ! :)O
"Older Jeep" geeze. That makes my 1984 anchient. lol
lol....thats what i thought. that jeep was no older than 2018.
Trevor is underrated , always a good mood, always running and filming.
Next one i wanna see Trevor driving👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Matt, I am origionaly from Northern Utah (Clearfield) and you make us Utahns proud. Your non-judgmental and you think of your customers first. KUDOS! BTW Love ED, he is a character and old timer and reminds me of my uncle from Hooper..
When isn't it windy in Cedar? That's awesome you guys picked up food for the baby! Great customer service! Trevor's son and my son are friends at school. Small world.
@@JC-uq5gi you're only seeing the edited version. Having been a subject, in a video of shame, I know there's a lot more that goes on that doesn't make the cut.
@@JC-uq5gi Nah, they were well-behaved. You can tell they were stressed out on top of it. They said thank you; what more do you need from someone having a rough day?
@@JC-uq5gi Ive broken my spine too but it didn't put me in a whimsical fantasyland where exhausted and embarrassed travelers paying a professional for help are expected to bawl with obsequious thanks when a camera is in their face. You have been unfairly critical. You definitely didn't see then entire interaction, and even what's there is enough. I'd have been happy with that thanks and a successful run, I'm emotionally secure enough to accept that sincerity. So in some bygone era people needed to be obnoxious with their thanks and praise because they were afraid of the helper adding extra capricious additional "tax" if their groveling wasn't sufficient? Doesn't sound like the good ol days to me. You're dreaming, and you're judging.
@@richardelliott9511 honestly, I wasn't really embarrassed. To me it's hilarious! 😂 I'm only embarrassed because I've had to call so many times! 😂. It's always just part of the adventure.
I was recently rescued by people like you. God Bless You.
“Lizzy, out of my seat!”...that’s harsh Matt 😆
Think it bothered her a bit if you see her expression. Was a bit harsh coming from Matt. I know he didn’t mean it that way.
@@akelkhunter ...of course he didn’t, that’s why I was laughing!
I was just getting ready to comment on Lizzy driving the Banana when, "Lizzy! Outta my seat!" 🤣 perfect timing
With your guys fabrication skills, I can’t believe that Sno-Cat doesn’t have back doors yet.
Sounds like a great summer project
Or slide up seats lol
or exhaust that doesn't blast you in the face when hooking up to the recovery point too!
@@NorthJorgie89 that's the first thing i said to myself when they fixed & painted it. Either folding seats (like those from any 2-door SUV) or flip up seats on a pair of unequal length arms.
I'm thinking an extended cab!
Not worth it; this is part of our entertainment!
Much respect to you for being kind to the one stuck in the sand for it being difficult to traverse, but also must respect to the ones in the snow who were smart enough to call and ensure they could get their baby out of danger. That was a very smart move.
Rudy, the most honest character on the channel. You’re not terrible at the weather, not one bit.
Jeremy - "Most honest" ? Like the others are not ? They all seem pretty genuine.
@@stevejette2329 That’s exactly what I was getting at... all liars except Rudy, and he’s not even honest, just the most honest. Lol cmon man...
That's just friggin amazing! Bringing baby food to a rescue. You all are champions.
Note to self: Don't put the Pep Boys off-road lights right next to the recovery hooks.
Exactly. Don't let you desire for flare impede the proper function of recovery hardware. It wasn't placed there to impress. It actually serves a function.
They look like Baja designs to me, so definitely not Pep Boys but yeah, shitty placement.
The guy needed to see where he is going to get stuck next
He needed something to ziptie the lights to.
Great driving. Great scenery, happy crew, happy customers. Eat more greens. Thx for sharing.
Editors note: If you're using Premier Pro, you can get rid of those audio pops between clips by going to Effects>Audio Transitions>Crossfade>Constant Power. Drop the "constant power" between the clips. You can make the duration of the effect as short as you want so that it doesn't bleed the audio too much, but it will still get rid of the popping.
okay, going back now to listen for an audio pop :)
The pop abounds. Wasn't conscious of it, now i can't stop hearing it
@@moregrouchy sorry 😄
I have a recommendation for the snow cat if you can use a seat mount that flips up from a older style 2 door blazer access to the rear seats will be a lot easier 😉
That Snow Cat is quite the recovery vehicle. Looks like every tow is an adventure! Thanks for sharing.
When is Rudy gonna graduate and get to paint his Jeep yellow? He should do a yellow digital camo. That would look badass.
yes!!! Yellow, gray, charcoal digital camo
We'd get to see a yellow banana and a set of windows, headlights, and tires roving the sand dunes!
I would say once the corvair is done Rudy will probably be piloting the banana.
Paint jobs are expensive
His previous XJ was half yellow/half grey, called the Banana Split. Apparently they had to retire that car and this is his new car, a work in progress.
I love seeing Lady and Max having such a good time!
What are the specs on Rudy's Jeep. seems pretty capable but more average then the banana. would be fun to have him do a walk around talk about lift, axles, tires, etc
XJ’s are inherently capable, even stock. I’d guess he’s got 33’s, probably Dana 44’s, lockers, and maybe a 4” lift? Maybe a 3.5. Just a guess though cause I’m on a 6” and 37’s and his looks a lot lower.
He has Goodyear Wrangler tires
@@robdog1245 definitely no lockers. It's all in the airing down.
@@angerm088 I would have guessed he was on the Patagonias that matt swears by. But rudy also daily's his so a good AT is better for the pavement
@@scottcol23 Maybe he used to. I never asked specificly about the tires. He has some custom welded stuff and some parts are a mystery. Either way his Jeep seems to be doing fine
Who noticed the Jeep ran over the tow rope in the garage ? Nothing said 😁. Come on Matt give us an idea on mileage from your place to the breakdown. Nice video
All the best
Regards Richard 🇬🇧
I know I’ve said it before, but I believe it bears repeating. Those dogs are living such a wonderful life. Watching them run around the dunes, tails going like crazy. I’m more than a little jealous.
Makes you realize, how many dogs dont't have the life they deserve and need.
Even when people mean well, they tend to forget what their dogs really need.
The snowcat reminds me of the old Johnny Quest cartoons. Yeah I know most of you won't remember
It wouldn't be allowed today. Too much wokeness!
I just love watching the dogs run where ever they run. They seem to enjoy being outside rather being all cooped up.
Happiest dogs East of the Rockies.
Bombi is the cutest machine ever. It almost feels like it's alive.
Really great job taking care of the snowbound jeep!!! Thoroughly impressed with the kindness and professionalism of the rescue! Thanks guys!!
Found your channel about 5 days ago. Been binging an hour or so a day ever since!
I found that explanation adequate.
Are we all going to ignore the fact that it was clearly Lady showing Matt where to pull the Banana? Just follow her, she knows where to go.
I was thinking the same thing!
You're not alone 🤣😉
Lady is actually the mastermind behind winder, they all follow her orders 😂😂😂
Came here to say just this.
lmao, good dog knows the right path to take.
Hats off to you and your team, You NEVER degrade or berate a customer. Other companies who have tried to copy you constantly do that, and I don't watch them anymore...Besides, the customer knows how dumb they are in "THOSE" occasions...
Well, we've got an hour to go, "not Trevor, he lives here!"
Seems to me that Trevor's house should be the occasional Snowcat staging area. Long way to haul and a lot of fuel to burn getting up there and then burn it again going back down.
The customer is paying for it. Mileage charge won't go down just because they have nothing on the trailer...
This is the most wholesome thing ever, keep it up Gang!
In all the years of me watching RUclips videos I never thought I would actually enjoy, Towing recovery videos. Thanks for the great enjoyment! 😁
I was camping at Navajo Lake Thanksgiving Day 1989. I was in my tent when I heard what I thought were two separate gunshots. I didn't give it much thought until I heard something falling on the tent. It was one heck of a snow storm starting, seems that the cracks I heard was thunder snow with a few cracks of lightening. I was driving what was the first year for Wranglers (86) Laredo. I jumped out of the tent and scrambled to take down the tent and throw (literally) all my gear in the back of the Jeep. As I came up from the Lake I saw two separate trees that were still smoldering from lightening strikes. That was my first experience with "thunder snow". By the time I got to the top road above the lake, the snow was already significant. Believe me when I tell you that I was sooooo lucky to get off that mountain and down to Cedar City. The snow was still horrific from Cedar City to St George, but petered out after that (was headed back home to Boulder City NV. Remember ... there weren't any cellphones in those days, and I was the only one in that campground that time of the year. I can look back now and laugh at the whole situation, but at the time I could have been in serious trouble. Take care guys.
I really enjoy starting my day off with your videos, big fan.
I know right! I agree
You know it’s cold when even Matt is wearing a coat!
Or rudy
Love watching the old XJs pulling out the newer jeeps
Matt / Rudy forgot to tell the snow people "Don't run over the rope."
got hooked on the videos about 2 months ago and now i watch every one an hour within it coming out. YOU NEED TO MAKE MORE
Great rescue. I'm dumbfounded anyone would venture into that terrain without extra fuel and food......especially with a baby in the car.
Bet he won't do it again!
And yet Matt does not bring any extra fuel himself.
@@iffykidmn8170 maybe he will next time as you can never be too prepared when in the recovery business, imho.

Matt has the best office views.
You need to spend the spring and summer putting back doors in the snow cat.

Was anyone else yelling “don’t run over the rope” when they were coming into the gas station?
I said rope, rope, rope!!
Matt: it seems like a siphon hose might be worth the weight to carry with you guys. You could have siphoned some fuel out of the snowcat and sold it to the Jeep instead of towing him to the gas station.
I am surprized they don't carry 5 Gal of fuel.
always a good day when matt and the team uploads another vid
How could you not like Lizzy: nonchalant and totally nonplussed driving in sand many of us would not even venture into. Love you guys helping people.

Nice double feature! I like how Matt told the guy to not be embarrassed.
"Don't be embarrassed..." 😀 He is lovely!
Typically when your car quits from low fuel, take off the gas cap, it relieves the vacuum pressure in the tank and most cars get an extra few miles.
doesn't work like that with modern cars
@@imzackson you're probly right, ours was a 2014 Trailblazer, and the others we've heard it worked on were even older, like 2012, just old dogs......
@@timmorris3056 the only time the system goes in to vacuum is to leak test it's self. the rest of the time it only purges a small flow through to relive vapor pressure.
How about making sure you have enough fuel for the task at hand!?
@@lightningstrikestwice2935 and food for the baby, and blankets for the cold, and actual snow tires and chains for the road conditions, and possibly just a simple satellite dish on the house so they could stay home rather than let their unpreparedness and inexperience put the family at risk........ We worked with Search and Rescue for over 30 years now, and 95% of the victims lacked experience and preparedness for their venture, it cost the County $Millions over the years to rescue these Weekend Warriors, and the worst part was witnessing the innocent family and friends that got dragged into that excursion and ended up suffering as a result of poor decision making. I cringed so hard when they ran over the rope at the gas station 😬
SAME!! I came to the comments to look for this 😂
Meh, near 0 MPH and they were stopping. It'll be fine. the real danger is getting it wrapped up.
@@russellv6234 I’ve always thought the danger was in the rope being pulled on while there’s a tire sitting on it, potentially fraying it. But true, it looked like they were both coming to a stop right at that point.
@@russellv6234 You don't understand. Once the tire rolls on the tow rope the attachment point will still be moving forward relative to the ground and the rope that is pinched under the tire gets dragged across the ground by the attachment point with the tire on it. Every single moment the rope is under a towed vehicle's wheel it's very abrasive to the rope, every time. It doesn't matter if the tow car is stopped.
@@russellv6234 "near 0 MPH" It doesn't matter how slow. ANY movement is abrasive as hell on the rope when it goes under the tire of the towed car.
