I am excited to have underwear patterns that are designed to be super easy to sew, and functional. 😊 looking forward to not having to figure out how to get the elastic to not dig in where its joined.
Agreed. I recently bought this long legg boxer style made for women, because center seams on others are so annoying. This style is amazing for comfort. Maybe could make a pattern with this no center seam style for long johns and even leggings ... without center seam. I really like the idea of the huggers without elastic. The elastic is always too tight or cause irritation somewhere, so I end up buying sizes that are way too big (at least 3 sizes) in the hopes things will better.
I love the look of these and am considering getting your pattern, but can you tell me, do the boxers have a seam in the middle of the crotch? My hubby can't wear boxers with a seam in crotch gusset.
There is a seam connecting the center front to the center back. It swings a little further back than what I would consider the center of the crotch. If you do the fly opening, that seam also gets sandwiched inside the 2 center front layers which makes it smoother on the body. You could cut the center front and center back in one piece to completely remove the seam but you wouldn’t be able to make the fly opening in the normal way. Hope this helps! Thanks for asking.
Ann! You are such an amazing person! Thank you for being so thoughtful in your pattern designs! ❤❤❤

Yay! I'm so excited and will be getting your pattern soon! I would definitely be interested in purchasing your favorite fabric for these! ❤
Wonderful! Thanks for the input!
I have been making umdereear out of upcycled tshirts and that works well too. These patterns looks great!
Love it! Upcycling always feels like such a win!
Thank you for making a boxer brief style that has no center seams! Most uncomfortable seam location for undies.

I love my own made underwear. Better quality jersey than store bought undies.
